Let me say right up front ... morethat although the analyzer powers on as you can see it does not finish booting up. The screen shown is as far as it gets in the process. And that screen flashes on for maybe 5 seconds and then goes off for a couple, repeating that cycle endlessly. It is NOT responsive to the controls. There is a floppy disk in the drive. Just a disk, not a Stanford Research disk. So if it is supposed to boot up from the disk maybe it’s just the disk. But I don’t hear the drive ever make the familiar boot up noise. So if I(as a totally unqualified observer) had to speculate I would say it is more of an issue than just needing a new boot disk. Maybe just a new drive? So anyway. Maybe an easy fix, maybe the thing needs to be totally refurbished. It is sold for PARTS/REPAIR/REFURBISHING only. It is untested other than as described and NO warranty is offered. However.
