And one central hole for locating pin Patent date appears to be cast in and not later stamped. But is very crisp Natural patina. This is a nice set of 4 antique heavy duty cast iron caster wheels. They are in good condition. They swivel and roll smooth. The wheel itself is approx. 3 inches by 1 1/4 inches. They measure approx. 4 1/4 inches tall. The mounting piece measures approx. 4 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. It is marked on mounting plate 1050 3 A 3. Each caster wheel weighs approx. 3 3/4 pounds. They are marked Bond 1018 on the wheel. The swivel part has ball bearings. The wheel has a hole in it for oiling. We have cleaned most of the grease and grime from these. This is a nice old set of cast iron caster wheels. They are all solid cast iron including mounting plate. They all match. They are marked Pioneer Elkhart. Ind. H 190 937. There are no cracks or chips. These have not been cleaned, but can be easily cleaned by soaking them in a degreaser for a couple of days, but will leave that to the collector's discretion. They are all heavy made. Each caster weighs 3 3/4 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings. They measure approx. 4 1/4 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 3/8 inch wide and approx. 3 inches across. The mounting plate measures approx. 5 inches by 3 1/4 inches. This is a very nice heavy duty set.
