Up for bid is a set of 4 Faultluss 400 series light duty casters with swivel and brake. They have 4" Dyna tred TPR(Thermoplastic rubber) wheels. I believe that they are rated at 250 pounds load per wheel. I had but in a call to the faultless company sales but they have not gotten back with me. They feature a 1/2" x 13 UNC stem that is 1 1/2" long and are 4 7/8" tall(wheel bottom to top of bearing cap) I had these on my stationary workbench for about a year before I changed the configuration. I purchased these new. They have some wear/dirt marks on the wheels. As you can see the info on each wheel reads"Faultless 400-3 1/2/4" I will ship them in the box you see. Incredibly unique Antique or vintage or machine age or industrial revolution cast iron heavy duty double wheel industrial swivel casters patent date of MAY 1 1877 Mounting plate also is designed to pivot with slotted hole and plate bears on a rotating disc to distribute/ carry load Mounting plates are all clearly marked with"PAT MAY 1 1877" Each Mounting plate assembly consists of 4 pieces Only other marking is a"5" on the carrier body for the wheels cast into the piece Mounting plate is 2 inches in diameter and nearly 1/4 inch thick with two mounting holes. And one central hole for locating pin Patent date appears to be cast in and not later stamped. But is very crisp Natural patina. Very old typical condition for period pieces A couple"bites" on a couple wheels from use All wheels rotate just fine and pivot ... morejust fine. Also Bearing discs/ wheels all rotate just fine. Overall height is just under 4 inches to top of locating pin Width of carrier is 2 1/2 inches Wheels 1 3/4 inches diameter and 1/2 inch wide x 2 each caster Fastened to carrier with rivet thru each wheel. Set of four casters. 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" non marking polyurethane ball bearing wheel. 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" mounting plate, 4-5/8" overall height. Very good lightly used condition. Purchased for temporary in-shop use and no longer need so many casters taking up space. These are exellent quality casters in great shape. Just a little dusty and with a little"stuff" on the wheels from rolling on a shop floor(woodworking shop, nothing too nasty) I have a total of 24(six sets of 4) of these casters and I also have 20(five sets of 4) of the same casters but without the side locks. 4 Vintage 1" Metal Swivel Casters with Mounting Plates
These four casters swivel freely. The casters frames are 1 inch and the wheels are 1 1/4 in diameter. The mounting plates measure 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" One of the casters has rust over about 10% of the plate and frame. Zoom in on caster on right side of photo. It still functions properly.

Vintage Industrial Factory Cast Iron Swivel Casters Bassick #477 Huge 3-1/2"
Four cast iron industrial Bassick casters acquired at an industrial salvage auction. The Bassick Caster Company manufactured casters in Bridgeport. CT and is no longer in existence. These casters are huge and from what I have learned, I believe they probably came from an industrial factory cart. The iron wheels measure 3-1/2" in diameter and each caster weighs well over 6 pounds. They all roll and swivel as they should. Each has a grease fitting and the ball bearings can be seen under the edge of their enclosures. They are marked in more than one place with the manufacturer's name; and the part#477 is prominently stamped on one end of the bases. There are other numbers in various places which are likely part numbers for other components. There is heavy patina/rust and minor visible wear to the wheels. They are also extremely dirty. ... moreI haven't done anything to them as I didn't know where to begin and didn't want to disturb the patina if that was going to be the desired finished product.
