Bruce and Walker 8' 4/5 trout fly rod, 4- piece. Near Mint condition. Just some tiny rubbing marks to the reel seat. I have grass cast this rod, but I doubt whether it has ever been fished. Hand built by B& W on a matte black blank with black gloss whippings. Weighs just 3.3 oz. The rod has the usual gold and black fish logo. Bruce& Walker England Hand Built' and 8' but has no name or weight inscription. According to B& W this seems to be a prototype. Like a Powerlite travel or similar and as such is very rare or maybe unique. The standard of finish is superb, certainly as good as a production model and very like the modern Powerlites I have owned. The glass bottles in this set are all original( none have been replaced) Two of the bottles have metal caps and the other two bottles have glass caps. There is tarnish present on the metal caps of two of the bottles and chips on the two glass caps. one of the caps for the glass bottle does not sit right due to the chips on the cap. Beautiful 4-piece set of Schumann Featuring Swags with Bows and Dresden Flowers This four-piece place setting includes an 11" dinner plate. A 7 1/2" bread or salad plate, a 6" saucer, and a 4" x 2 1/2" coffee cup. The design features the beautiful Dresden flowers in the center, and has a pattern similar to the Schumann Bridal Chain around the edge with swags and small bows. The edge is scalloped and features a thick gold edge that on all pieces is complete and shows no wear. This set looks like it is new. No chips, cracks, discoloration or imperfections. There is just a tiny bit of gold trim on the dinner plate's inner design that is a bit lighter than the rest in one area. You can see it in the photos, but it in no way detracts from the set. It is in good condition with two chips on the bottom of the bowl on the rim. The second is 8 inches. This bowl has a crack on the bottom inside of the bowl. The third is 6 inches and in good condition. The smallest bowl is 5 inches. It is in good condition. The bowls are all marked USA. They all show the usual flaws you see in older pottery. This 4 piece hand painted vintage Lefton China set. There are 4 miniature pieces. The re are two pitchers that measure 3 1/4 inches tall. There are raised flowers on both sides of both pitcher. If you look very carefully one of the bows is broken on one side. Otherwise I could find no other damage on thes e two pieces. There is a small ashtray that measur es 3 1/2 inches across. Some rose petals and a le a f are missing from this piece. The smallest piece has a stopper in the bottom but I am not sure what it is used for. It measures 1 1/4 inches tall. This piece is a compote and not a candy dish. It measures 9 1/4" and was made by Imperial Glass. It is carnival blue in the grape pattern. I've had a hard time taking my eyes off of this piece. It is really stunning. It is in mint condition with no chips or cracks, no repairs. It is patterned on the outside and smooth on the inside. You could certainly use it for a candy dish but I don't think I would use it for anything but display, its just too pretty.
