Vintage Thermax floor heater that has original cloth wiring. It works.The switch is the original Bakelite that came with the heater. Great copper dish with nice patina. Vintage 1924 THERMAX Landers, Frary & Clark Electric Percolator COFFEE POT
Thermax Vintage Thermax Landers. Frary& Clark Electric Percolator Coffee Pot I am selling it for a client. The coffee maker's cord is frayed in several spots. I have not tested it but feel strongly that the cord if possible should be repaired or replaced before using it. The coffee strainer is aluminum. The glass top is removed by twisting it. The coffee pot itself looks like it is stainless steel rather than aluminum. But I could be wrong. The strainer has the number E39347 on its side, which matches the number on the bottom of the pot. The coffee pot has a couple of small white spots near the base but cannot tell if it flaking or something that can be removed. Also. The pot has a couple of small dents on it as well, but nothing too serious. Overall, it could use a good polishing because as it stands now, there are some scuffs and ... morescratches on it but being as old as it is, who and what would not have some evidence when it comes to aging other than maybe a Barbie doll? The cloth cord is by Leviton but I do not know if it is the original cord for the pot. The part that inserts into the pot has a portion that has broken off(see above) but it still attaches firmly onto the pot. The"On& Off" switch is easy to move up and down. On the very bottom of the pot. It appears that at one time it had feet, as I found on similar pots, but regardless, it still stands upright with no problem. The handle first felt like wood to me but it could very well be bakelite. I do not see any chips on it but I do see some scratches. The glass top has a sliver that has broken off its rim(see above) but it is not sharp to the touch. There is another spot on the top that looks like it is chipped. But that one does not interfere with the removing of the top. As to its capacity to hold water. I poured the water through the strainer until it reached into the strainer, and it held about 5-1/2 cups. Since I do not drink coffee myself, except for an occasional cup at a local coffee shop, I do not know if I filled it with too m

This is in good condition. We plugged it in and the heater core heats up and glows brightly. The great thing about this heater is that you can unscrew the heater core just like a light bulb and screw in any standard size light bulb. No wiring needed! This makes it a wonderful conversation piece!

This machine is UNTESTED. As there is no cord, so we do not know the functionality- a cord should be easily attainable Appears in good vintage condition. With some small scratches here and there, as well as some apparent paint specks-oh no! on the silver-plate itself. Measures 15” High with glass lid x approx 8” wide(handle-to-handle) Stands upright. Not tilted but is missing the cord.thus is untested. It has trophy-like handles and a deep pour spout. Marked beneath with patent numbers and the dates 1912.1913, 1924. Please see photos!
