This is a nice heavy original old porcelain sign! It has thick layered paint. About 14 3/4" x 5" with a 1" flange edge. There is very little wear in the center of the sign, but around the edges there is some weather wear, and some chipping at the corners and mounting holes, overall about a 9.5 out of 10. Has a art deco styling as to shape and design. A great original gas station sign that is getting hard to find, a must have for your collection! To find a vintage piece like this in NEVER USED NEVER HUNG condition is extremely rare, and that's what makes these signs so valuable! These 2 original Texaco restroom flange signs came out of a Texaco bulk plant in South Texas that had been closed for quite some time. They were never hung. This is in nice as found general store advertising sign, in original condition as it was when removed, this was an outside display sign that hung on the door of the store, does show some surface wear and use marks, also has some read paint from where it has been painted around on the building some rust around the fastening holes nothing serious for the age, tons of character awesome antique sign, been hanging on an old general store for the last 80 years, measures 11" long by 3" high

VINTAGE RARE PORCELAIN MOBIL GAS STATION WEDGE RESTROOM SIGNS LADIES & MEN SIGN
AWESOME PAIR OF HEAVY VINTAGE PORCELAIN MOBIL GAS STATION RESTROOM SIGNS. Very hard to find these together. This includes both the MEN and the LADIES signs. These are original and very old. I do not know when these were used but I would guess 1950s or earlier. They weigh 4 lbs. 12 ounces Each before packing. Each side is about 20" x 6" The wedge in the back is about 6" gap is about 4" They are in good condition with rub wear mainly showing only on top. Bottom, or edges. Faces are clean except 1 side of the MEN that has a 2" thin scratch above right of the"M" If you look close at the main pic you will also see the colors are not perfectly the same. The ladies is a little lighter blue than the Men. I am not sure why but otherwise these are exactly the same in every way. Really a fantastic pair. Sad to let these go but just never got around to put them to as good of use as someone out there restoring an old station or building a replica. These will be really awesome to the right person.
