Vintage Hanging Victorian Style Corner Shelf Planter Walnut
Beautiful solid wood corner shelf- planter. It appears to be the original finish but someone started sanding it to possible refinish. The wood is dark. Maybe walnut? Its a nice large corner shelf. Measuring approx.27 inches tall from top to bottom, and approx 7 1/2 inches from corner out to wall edge and 8 inches from corner straight out to center front. There is a round cut out in the middle to hold a pot or plant. It is intended to be hung in the corner. There is a small crack starting inside the floor of the planter section and also one through the curley-cue under the planter. Both could easily be repaired. Or used as is. This is made of solid wood, walnut perhaps, which has received several coats of paint over the years. Vintage Corner Etagere Shelves This is a lovely set of three corner etagere shelves. The wood has been stained a rich dark color. I think the wood is oak because the grain is nice and tight and uniform. This shelving unit needs legs as you can see as well as the spindles that go in between. This is a gradual corner unit getting wider towards the bottom. All three have lovely curly fretwork sides and beveled front edges. The sizes are as follows from smaller to largest. 14 3/4" x 10 1/4" x 4" 17 1/8" x 12" x 2 3/4" and 19 1/2" x 13 5/8" x 2 5/8" Each has one back corner hole and two holes on either side end. If you can't make it all one piece. These might work as corner shelving. Condition: These are quite old. So they obviously are not going to be in new, perfect condition. The larger one has ... moresome splits in the wood on the underside. One of them can be seen on the top. But it looks more like a seam. The corner shelves are made out of 3/4 inch pine wood. The sides are 9 inches high and 7 inches wide. The top shelve is 8 1/2 inches. The overall measurements are: 9 3/4 inches high and 8 inches wide. There is two brass hooks to hang on you wall. I also include a few nails. All you need is a free corner and a hammer. The logos are cut out with a scroll saw. The pieces are hand sanded and painted with Acrylic Paint and glued on to a backing board. Only the surface of the logos are painted and the edge is painted the team's main color(see photos) It is finished off with four coats of clear glaze for the superior high-gloss finish. Lovely Vintage Hand Made Adirondack Walnut Hanging Corner Shelf, NICE!
This is a very nice hand made hanging corner shelf in the Adirondack style. I purchased this from an estate sale near Pottsdam. New York. The lady said that her father had made it years ago. The wood appears to be walnut but I cannot say for sure. The shelf measures 14 in. high and each side piece measures 6 1/2 in. wide. The bottom shelf has one spot along the left edge where the screw has slightly pushed the wood up. Other than that. This shelf is in very nice condition.

It was bought in 1960 in Sacramento from Bruenner's Fine Furniture store and has faithfully served its time on the wall of the family home. It meas ures(approximately) 23" high; including the leg extensions underneath. About 25" The top is 15 3/4" wide and the second shel f and bottom are about 17 1/4" wide. The top shelf is 4 3/8" deep and the bottom shelf is 5 3/8" deep. T he front of the curio shelves is curved.
