Levenger "Verona" by Stipula with gold nib
Stipula made Levenger Verona fountain pen This pen was sold by Levenger under the name of"Verona" It was made by"Stipula" in Florence(Firenze) Italy. I purchased one of these from Levenger a few years ago and still have the catalog page that shows a sales price of $159. With a fantastic 14k gold nib these pens write very smoothly and the size and weight are fantastic. It is 13.8 cm with the cap on and 16.5 cm with the cap posted. Stipula sold a couple of similar pens as the"Castoni" and"College" lines. I think this has an improvement over those pens in how the clip is done. It is spring operated so the clip lifts from the body by means of a spring underneath it. My favorite thing is the obsidian ball in the end of it which. Unlike the other pens with fixed cabachons, rolls freely in its mounting so ... morethat when it pushes over something it is very smooth. This vivid Carmel Colored Verona has an acrylic resin body that is hard to capture in a picture because of the shimmer and depth to it. You have the choice of Medium or Fine 14k. gold nib which writes smooth and even. I had my smoke grey one ground to a cursive italic style and it performs as well as my $500 Aurora Optima. It uses either cartridges or the included converter for filling from bottled ink. I was fortunate enough to have the rumors I had heard about this pen being made by Stipula confirmed for me during a visit to the Stipula factory. It was amazing to see the handcrafted workmanship that goes into each pen they make. To find old world artisans making things one at a time by hand is very rewarding. Stipula has become one of the premier pen makers in the world today and have an amazing line of high quality fountain pens. I believe if this was labeled as a Stipula its price would be double. But I think the quality says it all and makes this a real value. This pen has been thoroughly dis-assembled and cleaned to ensure fantastic writing quality. Levenger Replogle Art Deco Globe 1990's 60 Year Anniversary Black 12" Starlight
I bought this new in the 90's from the Ham/Schlem catalog. Can't remember what it cost but nothing is cheap out of that catalog. The Starlight black globes are common enough. But not with this very very cool Art Deco base. It commemorates 60 years of Art Deco and I've not seen another come up for auction. I can't find the original box. But it will be packaged well, no peanuts, and the base is very heavy. There is a set screw to mount the globe to the base. It has not been'out' on display very much over the years and no kids spinning/scratching it. It's basically like new! It's always been out of the sun so no fading. There is a textured relief for elevations and displays very well. Paypal only. No returns. Thank you.

This is a really nice Levenger product. The drawer organizer measures 16" long by 9" wide and 1 1/2" tall. With 9 compartments of varying sizes. It is made of beautifully polished wood with a soft velvety non slip base. One piece can be removed to make 8 compartments, if desired. There are also 5 removable black leather inserts that fit inside the compartments. Condition is used, but not bad. There are some dings on the top and sides. I have tried to take pictures of them. The smallest insert doesn't come out very easily. I left it in when I took the photos. There are a few marks inside as well. They might be from pens or pencils.
