This auction is for a lot of vintage tennis racquets and accessories from our attic. Most/all of them belonged to my great uncle when he attended Yale in the early 1900's. These would make a great addition to a game room or office for the tennis enthusiast! All items are used/worn and being sold'as is' I don't play tennis. LOT OF 3 VINTAGE FLOUR SIFTERS- 2 HANDHELD FRUIT PRESSES- POTATO MASHERS- GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR VINTAGE KITCHEN COLLECTION One large flour sifter has the word"Belmont" on it. There are no other markings. It measures 6 1/2" tall and is 10" wide which includes the handle. There is a wooden knob at the end of the handle. The mesh is in excellent condition as are the wire rings that move across the mesh when the handle is turned. As you can see in the picture. There is some dents at the top and a couple on the handle. The other large one has the word"BROMWELL'S MEASURING SIFTER" on it. Also have the words FIVE CUPS. FOUR CUPS, THREE CUPS& TWO CUPS pressed into each side of the sifter. Also, states"MADE IN USA. It ihas a plastic knob on the end of the handle. The mesh is in excellent condition as are ... morethe rings that move across the mesh when the handle is turned. This contains no dents, but does have some wearing of the finish. At one point there was a sticker on it and some of the residue remains. It measures 6 1/4" tall and is approximately 6 1/2" wide which includes the handle. The small sifter does not have a makers name on it. It has the words"FULL- TWO CUPS" around the top. Halfway down there is a line and the words"ONE CUP" and at the bottom"PAT. PENDING" The mesh is in excellent condition, however, there is some rust on the blade and around the edge of the mesh. It measures 3" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. The vintage handheld presses are in wonderful condition. One is Red and the other is White. The White Press has more scraps on the paint than the Red Press. There are no markings on the White Press at all. The Red Press has the words HANDY THINGS. LIVINGSTON MICHIGAN printed around a diamond shape with an HT in the middle. They are 11 3/4" in length and the basket is 3 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter. Here are two fine lithographs from the late 19th century that depict important points in the history of printing. Included are"Gutenberg's Invention" and"The First Sheet from Caxton's Press. William Caxton brought the first printing press to England in 1476. About 25 years after Johannes Gutenberg began operating his press in Germany. Page size is about 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches. 3 Dry Cleaning presses, vacuum and condensation circulator plus 3 steam irons.
We have for sale some dry cleaning equipment. I will try to describe as well as possible. I am no expert in this field. I am selling it for a friend. He has three presses. They all seem to be automatic. I will list below the makes and model numbers. They are in the back of a stock room. If ever someone is very interested we can pull the machines out and take better pictures. These machines were all bought from a company that refurbishes dry cleaning equipment.
