Cosmetically the unit is in very good condition. Handle is solidly attached to the container. A spigot is attached to the container. Internal blade is in wonderful condition and very clean. Very few small surface scratches on its base. I do not see any corrosion on it including its side screws. Simply plug it in and turn the knob on the front to the speed and direction that you want to use. Use it to blend fruits or vegetables. Baby food maker, also makes soups, shakes, smoothies, yogurt, grind grains or chop ice. Over 50 years old and still out performs most new blenders. lt does NOT have its wooden tapper but you can substitute the handle of a wooden spoon. BASE PARTS: NOTED the drive gear that the blade mounts to has a scraped corner on the square spindle that the blade fits onto(the corner has a scrape/ding that has some metal flash protuding that keeps the blade from sliding on. This would have to be filed or ground flush so the blade could fit over, to mee it doesn't look severe so shouldn't be too much of a problem to rework) I don't know if all of the necessary parts are present but it looks like they are to me(looks like there is an extra flange base) Some of the parts have old residue staining. NOTE that the rubber top is missing the clear plastic stopper on top. Also.
