Vitamix 3600 Plus Blender for Parts Engine runs great - needs pitcher and attach
As you can see. This blender has been used and loved. The engine works great. The cord is great. The body looks shabby from many cleanings and not cleanings. There is no pitcher. The main problem is the base where the pitcher needs to attach(black part) needs to be replaced. I am starting the bidding low because I don't want to see this go to waste. Thanks! Vitamix 3600 Commercial blender, needs part. Very nice otherwise see pictures
This Vitamix 3600 needs repair. The drive nut spins where it attaches to the motor shaft. See 2nd to last picture. Im not sure how this part is supposed to be held together, so I dont know if its missing a washer, or how it is held on. The drive socket on the container is intact and looks in good shape, see last picture. The drive nut fits into it snug. The motor does work in all speeds, forward and reverse, and the motor base, and stainless steel jar are both in good condition. The plastic"action dome" is also in great shape, the latches are tight, and the seal appears to be good. This would be an excellent commercial quality blender for someone that can find the part, or repair it. Please see the 2nd to last picture for the part it needs. This item will ship UPS ground. Everything is in great working condition and functions as intended except for one thing: The nut on the bottom of the top part of the blender(the container) is stripped out(the part that the shaft on the top of the motor unit goes into to drive the blades) I took a picture of it- look at all the pictures. And as you can see. The hexagon shaft on top of the motor unit is not worn even a bit. You can probably buy this part and put it on. Because there is a bolt that you can loosen up and take out that connects the nut and the blades to the bottom of the container, which would make this a perfectly operational blender setup. but, if not, just buy a new container. This Vitamix container/pitcher is in very nice condition as you'll see in the photos. The photos are of the actual item.
