The item for sale is a Vintage Vitamatic 500 Stainless Steel Blender by Vita Mix Inc. This 50's era blender has been tested and works at both high and low speeds. The blender is very solid and heavy(7 lbs) with suction cups on the bottom. There is no rust or damage to the unit and the power cord is in great shape. A couple of things 1 the rubber grommet inside the latching plastic top had a rubber seal grommet that is gone. It was nasty& old so I took it out because it looked horrible. 2nd thing is that there is rust little specks and spot all over the base on all sides. I have cleaned the base& the rust will not come off. The pitcher has a spout and a black handle it is 9in tall& 4in wide. I have tested it and it works fine. it just has wear. the plastic latching top& the plastic sheath have some light scratches and other little wear but no cracks or chips. It is used so its not perfect but its a nice piece that works fine. Now I am human and make mistakes& ... moreI do miss things from time to time. I am not trying to defraud anyone out of anything. Vitamix Commercial Maxi 4000 Vita-Mixer Vita MIx Mixer Blender W/ EXTRAS Manual
This Commercial Vita Mix is in excellent condition. No digs or nicks. This unit runs EXCELLENT, 3 speeds forward and one reverse. The top dome comes with a refurbish kit that includes three gaskets and new clips. The original manual is with it. It has the surface pad to set it on and a new Tamper wooden spoon. The manual has great recipes and there are two chrome blades that the original owner claims went with it but I cannot see how they were used. The only flaw for this machine is the ACTION DOME Sticker is missing. Not essential for operation. This is a nice USED unit in great operating condition. The spigot was tested and does not leak, works great. Nice used unit but nice enough to set out. Many parts are still available on-line for this unit and should provide years of use.
