The only flaws being a crack in the clear plastic cap which has been glued and some surface corrosion on the bottom of the aluminum base plate of the pitcher. This can be wire brushed off but it will just come back as this is normal for aluminum that is exposed to damp conditions. The stainless steel Pitcher is great inside and out and ready for use. This is the sale of a previously owned Astro Blender. Model AM-2. It is an industrial grade milkshake machine. It has been tested and is in excellent working condition. This is not the version with the foot pedal. This is a great retro blender. The Hamilton Beach model#909. It has an on/off switch, and 2 speeds High and Low. It works well- it will grind and blend a cup of ice into a drink in a few seconds. It holds over a quart of liquid with space to spare. The stainless cup looks great. The plastic lid/measuring cup has a couple of tiny cracks as shown. They do not affect the performance. There is a smell from the base/motor when it is running. I do not know if this is because it has not been used for a long time. But it definitely works now.
