Model 479029. 115 Volts UL listed. Manufactured during the 1960's-70's. Built to last and made in the U.S.A. We acquired it from an elderly mother who hardly used it. It has been in storage for many years. lt is in excellent cosmetic condition. Has the base. The stainless steel container and its top lid. Its 4 rubber feet are in excellent condition. Its black electrical cord is also in excellent condition. Made of stainless steel and heavy duty. Unit has been previously used. Has been tested and works great. Very powerful motor. Has a two speed. Forward and reverse instant blade feature which is unique to this model. The container is made of stainless steel while the ... morebase is made of chrome. Any little rust present would be on the underside of the unit. lt's shiny and clean as stainless steel is. No dents. Damage rust or pitting on the chrome. No repairs were made on the unit. Works great motor wiser.it needs new blade mechanism its called"agitator assembly kit"and it cost 85.00 plus 5.45 shippng at VITA MIX company the it replaces the blade mechanism. I spoke I detail to someone at VITA MIX personally and they also sell conversion kit to use the new containers with old motor for 150.00. And way the agitator assembly is worn out that's only thing need replacing.That's the they actually still contract that part out to small business to be made.luckily I would buy it but dont want to invest any more than i already have. Vitamix Super 3600 stainless blender container/pitcher with Action Dome
This Vitamix container/pitcher is in very nice condition as you'll see in the photos. The photos are of the actual item. The dome has a small chip on the edge(see last photo) There are no dings or dents. Shows general signs of wear but overall is in good shape. Please let me know if you have any questions. This Vitamix Super 3600 Stainless Container w/ Spigot.Action Dome, Stopper, Tamper, and vhs video recipe book is all in great condition EXCEPT the drive gear/mixing blade piece is missing from the bottom of the container. Everything else is there and in great condition.
