VTG. PAIR GOLD/GILT WOOD SCONCES/ DISPLAY SHELVES MADE IN ITALY SCROLL SHAPE
This pair of vintage 60's( Italian wood wall sconces or display shelves have an elaborate carved front side and a side scroll design. There is some loss of gold/gilt on some edges. There is wear on the top shelf areas. There is no indent on the sconce/ shelf top. The sconces each measure 5 1/8" by 3 1/8" and are 7 1/8" tall. Together they weigh 1#3oz. One has a red paper label that says"made in Italy" That one has it original triangular hooks as well as an added silver metal one. The other sconce has double paper labels from Dayton's with the original price of $13.00. It has its two original triangular shape hooks.

Vintage wall or tabletop display curio cabinet. 4 footed for tabletop or 2 hangers on the back for hanging on the wall. On the glass door the back plate is on but the decorative pull is missing so you will need to find a piece to go on it in order to open the door. You can open the door without it but it is a little hard to do but on the other hand it may be a way of keeping hands off. It is approximately 17" tall x 14" wide x 4 1/2" deep. Few minor scratches that could easily be touched up with Old English but leving that up to the high bidder. A nice display case to show off your collectibles. 3 shelves on the inside and 3 shelves on each side. Offere d for sale is a Diminutive Mahogany Empire Ladies Desk circa 1840. This wonderful slant front Empire desk features a tooled leather top. Hidden compartment for inks and quills and slide out candle shelves. The top lifts to reveal a storage area with fake drawers with little ivory knobs. A lovely carved molding is around the bottom of the desk. Fully turned columns with carved capitals support the desk. Beautifully carved corner brackets can be found under each corner. Scrolled feet hold cupped rollers, hiding them from view. There are a couple of piece of veneer missing from the feet. Not uncommon for a piece of this age. On the inside there is an age separation in wood, again not uncommon and one candle holder has been replaced, please look closely the photos. Antique Victorian Era Country Store Wall of Shelves(circa 1915) 16 Feet of Heart Pine Shelving with notched upright standards for adjusting shelves. There are actually 25 shelves. One is not placed in photo but is available. 24 have their little rounded end holders to hold them. You are buying just the shelving and upright standards. The beaded board behind them is the actual store wall which is not included. This 16 foot unit is held to the wall with 5"L" brackets attached to top shelf and to wall. Unit is 13" deep.
