Antique Hat Steamer trunk shipped 6 HATS and has ladies accessories compartment
It is 24"L x 22"H x 17 1/2" D. The cloth part is gray. This trunk was used in the early 1900's for trips abroad. I can provide you with some of the history of its owner if you are interested. For instance. She was a wealthy single woman and drove an ambulance in WW11. It can hold 6 hats, and has a separate compartment for lady's accessories. The trunk is a nice size for using as a display/storage piece, which is why I removed the 6 hot holders. But I saved them all, and you can see them in the photos. One of them is missing its covering and shows the coarse material it was stuffed with. The one in the front contains its original hat pin, which looks like it could have been a murder weapon! Vintage 6 Compartment Pyralin/Celluloid Fly Box with Flies
This is a nice little fly box. It has six compartments. It has a beautiful aged look to it owing to the Celluloid/Pyralin material of which it is made. In case you don't know. Celluloid was one of the first plastics. It was a volatile material, however and prone to deterioration. Considering this fly box is pushing a century in age, it's really in amazing condition! Included are 16 old flies of various sorts. There are a couple of streamers. Some bass bugs, wet files and dry flies. This was made in the USA by"Bill Dewitt Pyra-Shell Baits" in Auburn. New York, probably around 1915-20. Set it on a shelf to display or fill it with flies and go fishing!

While Media Mail and Parcel Post are cost effective they are also the slowest methods of transport. Within the continental U.S. lower 48) these can take up to two or three weeks to arrive. When choosing these methods for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico expect delivery time of a month or more. This also applies to APO/FPO addresses. Please keep this in mind when choosing class of mail during checkout. DO NOT EXPECT TO RECEIVE MEDIA MAIL SHIPMENTS ANY SOONER THAN TWO WEEKS. Sometimes it may arrive quicker. Most times this is not the case. In some instances when Parcel Post is chosen we may upgrade the shipment to Fed Ex Ground since they are a more efficient means of transport.
