VINTAGE CURVED GLASS DISPLAY CABINET, SMALL, 18-5/8 IN. TALL, DUO-SHELVES PEGGED
My mother is the original owner of this VINTAGE CURVED GLASS CABINET DISPLAY CASE. Stands 18-5/8 in. high; originally. There were legs attached to the underside ~ the four holes can be seen on the base's underside. My mother removed them as she wanted this case to sit flat on the floor and over the years. Has displayed many dolls in this cabinet. THERE ARE TWO SHELVES THAT SIT ON CRUDELY CONSTRUCTED'CORNER' PEGS IN THIS PIECE, ONE OF THE PEGS IS MISSING BUT THIS COULD EASILY BE REPAIRED. Dark, highly varnished wood makes up this cabinet; the back side is veneer and I did show the mars on the back ~ they do not go through to the front of the backside. My mother had the shelves set aside(but shelves are included) as the dolls she individually showcased, took up the entire height of the cabinet. There are two triangular hardware ... morepieces for hanging; and there are nicks and dings over this piece, but again, has seen use and there is an overall attractive look to this piece even with the nicks and dings; they simply add charm. The top decorative piece is scalloped(wood is dark and my photos are dark, I apologize, but I have added some new photos, in different light, from some different angles) No cracking to the glass; glass panels are secure in their settings, three total glass panels, including the door which is attached by two, original metal hinges. The glass curves out about 17-1/4 in. from the back wood frames. Original handle hardware intact, but no longer appropriately catches the piece to stay closed as should. Is a tiny gold- foil'MADE IN TAIWAN' sticker on the backside. I don't know if this transferred from another item during her two moves in the last couple years. Or actually original to this item. She has had this display case for a long time. Great item for displaying collectibles ~ or leave the shelves out and put a favorite doll in this cabinet. Two Antique Victorian Wall Brackets ideal for Door/Shelves/Clocks- Reclaimed
A pair of Victorian wall brackets needing restoration but where authenticity is required they are ideal. They are suitable for door surrounds but would also serve to support shelves or even ornaments or clocks. They measure one foot seven inches long with an extra inch or so curve on the bottom. They are 5 1/2" across the back and the top platform is anther inch wide approx. There are not any signs of worm I am not sure of the type of wood as the grain is close and where it has not been painted with anything the wood seems to have a golden hue. Any questions please ask. Here is a wonderful large antique oak wardrobe. Imported from the UK through Edinburgh, Scotland and decorated with carving across the top and down the side edges and celtic symbols on the doors as shown. This fabulous functional storage unit incorporates shelving on one side and open hanging closet space on the other, with a large clear dressing mirror on the inside of the door. This open cabinet space could easily be adapted with one of many storage or shelving systems now so readily available, if desired for individual purposes. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately show and represent this large wardrobe, which stands 75 inches tall by 60 inches wide by 21 inches deep, front to back. Inside the cabinet behind the left side facing door is a space 65 inches tall by 24 1/2 inches wide by 17 1/2 inches front ... moreto back. This is a beautiful golden oak victorian bookcase circa 1880. The bookcase has 2 glass doors. 4 adjustable shelves, and 2 storage drawers at the base. The drawers have the nice original hardware including key eschusions and locks although there is no key. However the doors doesn't have the key eschusion but has the lock and the working key. The same key does not fit the doors and drawers. The bookcase is a nice size. It measures 70 1/2" tall, 36" wide, and is 13 1/2" deep at the top 12" deep at the shelves and 15" deep at the base. The original beveled mirror on the top backsplash is 10 1/2" x 6 1/2" oval and has a smoky appearance. There is nice trim around the doors. This is a Vintage Maple Cushman Wall Shelf. Model 7005. The style appears to be danish. It is stamped"Cushman 7005" on the backside. It measures 21-1/4" x 31" There are 4 shelves. Each shelf is 19-3/4" wide. The top and bottom shelf are 4-1/2" deep. The middle shelves are 2-7/8" deep with a plate groove. There is 6-9/16" between shelf 1 and 2; 6-7/16" between 2 and 3; 8-3/16" between 3 and 4. The body is solid and made of solid wood. It has a nice rich vintage color. There are some dings. Scratches and scuffs throughout the shelf. The most noticeable scratches are on the outer sides. The bottom shelf down has a 1/4" ding on the front lip of the left side. There is a series of light scratches about 3/4" wide on the outer right side between the first and second shelf. The front edge ... moreof both outer supports have wear. This is a pair of vintage book stands in good used condition. They have been used and there are a few scratches but they are not damaged(they do need a clean and polish though) It is a Pair of Folding Bakelite Table Top Bookcases which were made in England by Ebco.1930's I think) They are made from dark brown Bakelite(or a similar hard plastic) and they have a classic art deco design. They are 20 inches wide. By 8 inches tall and are 8 1/2 inches deep. They have the branding moulded into the side: The Ebco Patent Bookcase- Patent No. 458167" One bookcase is complete but sadly one is missing the backboard. Beautiful Pine 3pc Library Unit, Arched Doors, 3 Top Shelves ea, MADE IN USA
This is a large reproduction Three Piece Library Unit measuring overall 108" Wide x 85" High x 19" Deep. Handcrafted by skilled Georgia furniture craftsmen IN THE USA using hand-distressed American white pine from the North Carolina Mountains. It is made of solid wood with floating panel doors and hand finished in a warm Maple stain and lacquer with light distressing. The inside backs of each unit are hand-rubbed and finished in a light whitewash and lacquer. The left and right unit has a beautiful arched top door with glass. The center unit is open with three shelves and four dovetailed drawers in the base. The units have antiqued Brass Knobs on the doors and 3pc Brass Pulls on the drawers of the center unit. All three shelves in the top of each unit are adjustable and there is one adjustable shelf in the base of the left ... moreand right unit.
