VLF Konverter mit integrierter Aktivantenne , SAQ Empfang , 4 MHz LO
Ich verkaufe einen VLF-Konverter mit integrierter Aktivantenne. Der Konverter ist mit einem hochempfindlichen FET Vorverstärker sowie einer 30cm langen Teleskopantenne ausgestattet und ermöglicht den VLF-Empfang. Ohne ausladende Drahtantennen spannen zu müssen. Die einzige Voraussetzung ist ein relativ ruhiges Spektrum im VLF Bereich sowie ein Empfangsort im Freien. Innerhalb von Gebäuden und/oder in gestörten Umgebungen wird man auch mit diesem Konverter kaum Nutzsignale empfangen können, was mit anderen Empfangskonzepten allerdings auch nicht möglich wäre. Der Konverter wird mit 9-15V DC betrieben und besitzt einen internen 4 MHz Quarzoszillator. Der VLF-Frequenzbereich von ca. 3kHz-300 kHz wird somit in den Bereich 4,003 MHz bis 4,3 MHz heraufgemischt. Als Nachsetzer eignen sich bevorzugt Kurzwellen-Amateurfunktransceiver ... moreoder-Receiver für den SSB/CW Empfang. Mir wurde berichtet, daß mit leichten Abstrichen an die Selektion sogar mit einem billigen chinesischen SSB-tauglichen Weltempfänger als Nachsetzer in Verbindung mit einem solchen Konverter SAQ empfangen wurde. Die nächste offizielle SAQ Aussendung wurde für den Vormittag des 24. Dezembers 2014 angekündigt. A really nice Compass 420 Magnum VLF/TR detector that works great! Has minor paint missing. From housing from some use. But other than that it's pretty darn nice. This model tunes with the. Needle in the middle of the meter and swings left for bad items and right for good. All controls work. As they should and the battery door is present. Battery connectors and holder are excellent. The search coil has very little discoloration on top and none on the bottom due to a coil cover being used. Since new. The pictures speak for themselves about the condition of this detector. Sierra 303B Frequency Selective Level Meter MW/VLF / Ham Radio Receiver
This Sierra 303B Frequency Selective Level Meter appears to be working OK. But I have no idea if everything is up to specs. I have no info on it. All I did to test it was to use a 20' wire antenna to pick up AM stations and tune up and down the band. Below the AM band I got mostly a LOT of noise most likely due to it operating next to my computer, a wonderful RF hash generator! The only quirky thing I noticed is. Sometimes when the unit is first turned on, the last 1 or 2 readout digits might not come on. A little tap to the readout face and they come right on. Maybe this is from sitting for years, or getting ready to go bad. I bought it over 6 years ago and it's been just sitting here! Cosmetically. It has some light wear, and some paint missing where it looks like a label of some sort was removed. Unfortunately. Vintage Garrett "S-3 American" VLF/TR Metal Detector
This was my first discriminating metal detector and it served me well! I put an arm brace on it to make it more comfortable to swing and it comes with a Depth Master depth multiplier which helped me find more silver. It still works well. Despite its used appearance. You'll notice I put duct tape around the meter to protect it from moisture and caulked around where the wire comes out of the coil. As is usual there is minor corrosion in the battery compartment(but not on the plug) but the electronics are clean. Features: manual ground balance and tuning, high/low sensitivity switch, battery test switch, and bottlecap/pulltab/VLF discrimination switch. A great detector for special situations.

Millen 90662 Kit with 90661 Grid Dip Meter GDO for VLF HF VHF
A GDO is used to determine the resonant frequency of tuned circuits or antennas and can also be used as a RF signal source. This kit includes a tone modulator so this could be used as an alignment generator for receivers. It has many other applications which are covered in the included operation manual. I think the best application for it these days is as a static display. It is a used quite old Millen test instrument. Probably from the early 1950s. It has all 11 coils to cover from 220 KHz to 300 MHz continuously. The dial is calibrated to cover 1.7 to 300 MHz and the low frequency bands are not shown. This has not been powered up in years. So take caution; I did use it, maybe 12 years ago and it did work okay at that time. There is a spare 9002 oscillator tube included in the box. There is no battery in the tone modulator. The remains of ... moresome stickers exist on the instrument as well as the remains of some very old masking tape on the steel case. Otherwise. I think it is in pretty good condition for its age. I put in a 9 volt battery(not included) in the clean battery Compartment and then tested it on two things, one is the Microwave as seen in the picture, the second w/out a picture is off a fan. In both cases I did see lighing up of lights, more lights lit as I moved it closer to the objects. Measures 3 1/2 inches wide, 5 5/8 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches deep at the top, less at the bottom. Made in Ohio, USA. No idea of age or how to actually use this, but clearly works, while not in the pictures, I did switch from low range to high and got a reading as I got really close to the objects.
