WALLY WOOD'S DISNEY MEMORIAL ORGY PRINTED ON A CIRCUIT BOARD IN GOLD: I recently obtained this 7 3/8x 12 inch white circuit board with wally wood's notorious 1967"disney memorial orgy" printed on it. In gold. The person who I received this item from had owned it for about 20+ years. The moment I saw this piece I was blown away at the absurdity of the image and the fact that it was printed in gold. After a little research I found that the image was in fact the Disney memorial orgy by Mad Magazine's Wally Wood.The image first appeared in The Realist magazine#74. May 1967 and was so successful it was made into a widely pirated color poster found in smoke shops etc. I am not sure why anyone would print this picture in gold on a circuit board but i am certain this piece is one of a kind because i cannot find anything remotely ... morelike it on the internet. Hell i cant even find any pictures printed in gold on a circuit board at all! I have been told by a vintage computer collector that it is very rare to see images printed on circuit boards in gold and when they do come about they are typically very small and usually represent manufacturers logos etc. and apparently to have such a high detail image printed in gold on this large of a scale is also really extraordinary because the photo lithography process used in printing gold on boards is very costly. Maybe it was made as a joke? or perhaps a test by a circuit board manufacturer to see what their equipment was really capable of? I'm not sure but who ever made this had time and money on their hands. The board is in excellent undamaged condition. It has been stored safely in Styrofoam. Let me call this a Scratch&Dent Item. THIS is ONLY the PCB/ Printed Circuit board that its connectors are at the rear top horizontal board of the Showcase Processor. The Showcase Processor was turned off/ unplugged when it got wet due to a flood. The unit was out of warrantee and the cost to fix by Krell would have been more than the unit was worth. Actually almost each board price would have been more than the unit. So. The unit was completely dissasembled/ cleaned and every board that I had New OLD stock was replaced by me. This board was roughly cleaned. but shows smudges/ dirt spots/ water spots. For the perfectionists. You can spend another hour making it spotless. No components were damaged. I believe that this is 1 of three main boards for the rare Krell 300R Receiver. It you search the Microtune item on this board. You will see that it is the guts for the AM/FM functional block. I believe that this is a New Old Stock printed circuit board. If you have the 300R. You should have this board as Krell probably doesn't have any more in stock. The other two boards are for the dual 150watt integrated amp with pre-amp. A photo shows that this board passed QUALITY Control. It seems complete except for 1 low cost bypass capacitor. Other than than no damages are seen. One photo shows that even the inline fuses are still attached and don't seem to be blown. Other bypass capacitors can be seen attached with via a standard engineering change order for small printed circuit board runs. AS-IS.

You will need to make a mount for the outer guides as there was one big plate that held two spindles and it was scrapped. This uses cross roller slides.
