vintage two coil pulse panel meter AC-24V. 12 ohms; DC-12V, 6 ohms This counter is in nice shape. Requires 24 volts AC. Or 12 volts DC, according to previous owner's markings The plastic cover over the moving numbers is in good shape, no cracks. The counter appears to operate as follows: If a pulse or spark goes through the coils(either coil) It hits the flap on either the left or right side of the counter(above the coil) then the counter will advance. Not sure what this is used for exactly. The previous owner was an old time ham amateur radio operator. He worked at the television transmitter of a major broadcast network from the 1950s-early 1980s so it is likely this came from his workplace. The previous owner and his colleagues were in the habit of taking home pieces of equipment from their workplace when the items were replaced with ... morenewer equipment. A frequent occurrence-and they had supervisor permission. This unit was taken out of service after reaching the number 05681. Selling details: This item is sold as-is. As found. 0-12VDC Panel Meter Direct Read 3-3/4" x 2-78" Face
Used 0-12VDC direct reading panel meter. Meter is just a little bit off on its reading(see picture) Moves well and has no sticky spots. Nice size for easy reading. This looks like the type Radio Shack sold back in the 1970s and 80's. But I cannot confirm it(yes, that is where my digital volt meter in the picture is from, best meter I ever had)

Unique Thermocouple Panel Meter With Adj Control Outputs Temperature Controller
This is a unique thermocouple Panel Meter that direly reads a Type K thermocouple. The Red pointers can be adjusted to close contacts when the meter rises above or falls below specified setpoints. You can see in the pictures that at a 500°C meter reading the voltage with the specified 10ohm resistor in series is 21.3mV which closely matches the type K specifications. The meter includes a short thermocouple that does work. You can easily change it out for a more accurate or longer thermocouple. Both the upper and lower contacts open and close with a closed resistance of about 100ohms. The brass contacts on the back of the meter should probably be cleaned up a bit with a bit of steel wool to get a good connection when you hook it up. Meter has a nice parallax mirror to get accurate readings. The face has a few scratches. But not bad. Some ... moreof the blur in the pictures is dirt I forgot to wipe off before I took the pictures. Unique Open Face Latching Vintage Weston Sensitrol Panel Meter Steampunk 0-5mV
This is a very unique open face 0-5mV dc panel meter with a latching contact feature was built in 1964. When the meter reads over 5millivolts DC the needle is captured by a magnet that latches it against the high limit contacts. This closes a set of contacts on the back of the meter(low current only or you'll burn these sensitive contacts) Once captured the needle is held until reset by applying 120VAC across the reset terminals briefly. This causes a set of arms to push the needle off the contact and back into normal operations(I'd recommend this be just a brief pulse to keep the reset coil from overheating) I have tested all the functions of the meter and they all work perfectly. The meter reads dead on at 2.5mV when tested. The meter is also totally sealed front and back. The back contacts are hermetically sealed in glass and the ... morefrom has a rubber gasket under the metal trim that is in good shape. I particularly like this meter becase the movement and contacts are all exposed giving the meter a very unique vintage look. On top of all that. This may have some interesting historical value as it was surplussed from Los Alamos National Labs where it was probably in service during the height of the atomic weapons development under the A.E.C. I really hate to part with this meter, but I'd rather see someone put it to use than put it back on my shelf to collect dust.
