The owner put decals on this over the years- some obviously off stuff he was working on. The cabinet is nice and straight however and structurally in fine shape. Personally. I kind of like the built in personality- but if one is intent on doing so I'm sure the decals can be removed. In any case it is sold as is- a little less than perfect. Measures 25 x 19 x 10. Huot Drill Bit Cabinet Storage 5 Drawer Dispenser (Vintage 1948?)
This is a vintage Huot machinist's cabinet in which I found several checks dated 1948 underneath the lowest drawer. A picture of one of the checks is included with the names blurred out. The date on the check says December 7th. 1948. Is this cabinet that old? I honesty don't know. This 5 drawer drill bit cabinet is numbered 1-60 and is remarkably clean inside each drawer. The outside has some paint missing and general wear but no dents. The drawers all open but they could use some oil. This would make a good collector's item or a drill bit cabinet for day-to-day usage. Very heavy duty- for a small unit it weighs in at 15 pounds. GENUINE IMPERIAL BRASS FITTINGS FROM THE 1940's This 5 drawer divided industrial shop parts metal storage box Genuine Imperial brass fittings.Each drawer has 20 sections each 2 1/2" by 1 3/4" In very good condition Each drawer has divider markers that are paper and can be easily removed by pulling up and removing. They are not glued in. Measures 11 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 9 1/2" Each drawer is 10" by 9" by 2" The item is in very good condition. Minor scuffs. It is really clean for its age.
