The design depicts women and men harvesting crops. Interiors and edges of the chest are painted black. The lid opens to reveal a compartment measuring 8 7/8 inches long by 5 1/4 inches wide. By 3/4 inch deep. It has a metal latch on a hinge to secure it. Three drawers open at the front of the chest. Each has a curved metal handle. the drawers measure 2 5/16 inches by 4 1/4 inches. for auction is a very nice and not found ofter 9 drawer antique quartersawn oak spool cabinet. it looks to be clark's. But there is no makers mark i can find. at any rate, you will not find one make any better. it is a fabulous near mint condition spool cabinet. it is heavy and sturday with no loose joints or separation. the top is two inches thick. it has quartersawn oak decorative pieces on the sides near the front. it sits on a base, most did not have bases, but this looks to be original to the cabinet and shows the same patina. it could be used as an end table or night stand or you could stand an elephant on it, it it that sturdy. would make a nice jewelry cabinet or a catch all for just about anything. it is a great piece with no damages, there are a few minor blemishes here and there from normal use over the last 100 years or so, ... morenone of which are noticeable nor do they take from its function, actually just adds patina to the cabinet. i cleaned and polished it, the knobs are porcelain and i do not know if they are original or not. they were filthy and i removed them to clean several decades of grim and black film from them. many had wooden knobs, these however are porcelain. the screws are original and did not appear that they had ever been removed. the holes are tight and firm with no wiggle or wobble etc. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. good luck.

For your consideration we have a very handsome 9 drawer Spice cabinet. This piece has lovely burled wood grain highlights. Also refered to as Curly Maple or Tiger Maple natural grain. It is not on every inch but scattered around the maple wood. Each drawer is beveled in a Bull's Eye shape. And over the top of each handle is a Ribbon shaped metal tag. There are: Almonds. Mustard, Nutmeg, Ginger, Allspice, Cloves, Cinnamon, Pepper, Bay leaves on the bottom larger drawer. The cabinet measures 19 1/4" tall by 9 1/2" wide. Vintage Wood Musical Jewelry Box - 9 Drawers Metal Mesh Front Made In Japan
For sale is a large vintage wooden musical jewelry box made in Japan by brand Toyo. I believe it is from the 1950s or early 1960s. Gorgeous antique style dresser curved legs and scalloped edges. It is in nice used condition. Although could use some additional polishing and maybe a sanding on top to smooth out the surface wear/scratches. No cracks or chips in the wood that I can see. Just mild scratches on the very top. It plays an old song but I am not sure what the song is and it is not labeled anywhere on the box. I've looked around and it could possibly be the Love Story theme song called"Where do I begin? It winds up in the back and when you pull out the top drawer in the middle it starts to play the song, but plays very slow. Please keep in mind that the jewelry box is very old. It has 9 large drawers, with a deep emerald green ... morefelt lining and they are in great condition and not yet pulling away from the drawer, they did have a bit of dust, but have been wiped out and nothing major staining or anything wrong with the felt. Some tiny pieces are missing from the top of a few, but are not that noticeable. The handles and pulls are all very sturdy, and are an antique dark bronze color. The doors in the middle have a metal mesh screen that open up and conceal two additional drawers. Very nice vintage wood jewelry box in very good condition. It is apx 9 3/4" tall. 8" wide and almost 5 1/2" deep. It has 3 doors on the top behind the mesh doors and 1 larger drawer on the bottom. It is musical and plays when the bottom drawer is opened. It has no cracks or scratches and the drawers are lined with a gold color velveteen. They velveteen has a few minor spots, which I have highlighted with a flash photo, but they are not nearly as noticable without the flash photo. Offered for sale is a Beautiful Vintage Romweber Dresser and mirror(circa mid-1960’s) This dresser features 9 drawers with a single jewelry tray in the top left drawer and original antique brass hardware pulls. The drawers are fully dovetailed and blocked. With dust panels between the drawers. The top of the dresser has parquetry block banding and is a fruitwood, possibly pecan with burl wood veneer fronts on the drawers. The original brass pulls have aged and the patina is a light bronze color. The mirror has matching burl wood inset and can be positioned on the dresser as desired: in the middle, or on either side. The mirror hardware includes 2 metal supports with 6 brackets and screws. The dresser measures 70" long x 20" deep x 32" high and the mirror measures 31 1/2" wide x 45" high. This is an American industrial-style type cabinet in golden oak. Containing 9 type drawers and manufactured by the Hamilton Manufacturing Company of Two Rivers, WI. The company began manufacturing wooden industrial cabinets in 1890 and switched over to metal cabinets in 1917, so this cabinet was made sometime during that period. The serial number of 74943 may allow you to narrow down the exact date of manufacture. The cabinet contains nine removable type-trays.
