They do have grease fittings and it does not look like they were ever greased. There is not oozing grease anywhere. The diameters are 5" and the thickness are 2" on all four casters. The wheels do show some wear but no holes or gouges. They look like they had rolled on smooth concrete, not like asphalt or rocky surfaces. The mounting plates measure 4 1/2" X 4" X 3/16" thick. They weigh in at 5 1/2 pounds each. This is a 22 pound shipment. Now. There is one caster that says"Bassick Kaspar, one caster says, Bassick SW" and two casters that have a"JJ" stamped on them. Here is a three piece set of heavy duty casters. The tread is aproximately 2" wide. And the wheel diameter is 8" The total height from floor to the top of the mounting plate is 9 1/4" The"tire" part of the caster is red plastic. Believed to be polyurethane, and the grey hub is a non-magnetic material of some kind. Each caster hub has grease fittings for lubrication. And the swivel style caster also has a grease fitting for the swivel ball bearing. The locking lever appears to be frozen or else too tight in adjustment on the swivel-style caster. All three casters used together might make a nice"tricyle" type of cart that is easily steerable with the appropriate kind of balanced load.or just use the casters individually in your application.

These apparently were made in Evansville, Indiana, and I guess they are older. I picked them up in a box of stuff at an antiques auction. Two are"ball" type and two are"wheel" type. Aerol Seal Large USED 12" High 8" Wheel Industrial Swiveling Casters_Heavy Duty
Here is a pair of Aerol Seal Giant Industrial Casters. They are used. Stamped AS R8 on wheel. Mounting plate holes are 5"x5.5" apart. Wheel measures 8" Caster stands about 11" from bottom of wheel to mounting plate. Wheels turn and swivel freely but could use some more grease. Biggest issue is a bolt that broke off in one of the holes. I got the nut off but did not attempt on getting the bolt out. Aesthetically. These are used casters. Paint is barely there, and rubber shows wear. There is about 3/4" of solid rubber on wheel. That being said, there is a lot life left in these! Great price on these otherwise very expensive pieces. ALBION IND 4 3/4" dia. HEAVY DUTY CASTERS, SET OF FOUR WITH BRAKES
These are used casters in very good condition. They stand 6 3/8" floor to top of the 4 1/8" x 4 1/2" plate. There are grease fittings on the swivel and on the axle. The urethane or rubber(green color) wheel surfaces are all evenly worn with no cracks. Chips etc. The LARGE EASY TO USE brake pedals work freely, and the brake appears to snug against the wheel, but does not hold very tightly. They were built by Albion Industries in Albion Michigan!
