A TRUELY VINTAGE TOOL SAW FILING VISE AND FILE HOLDER This vise is doubtless made in the USA around the early part of the last century. Whoever was the manufacturer. He did not feel it was necessary to put the brand on. The 9-1/2" jaws close tight. I wish my teeth did as well. The grey paint is in good condition. All the screws and cam work smoothly. Consider the file holder a bonus. It has quite a bit of surface rust which does not affect its usefulness. It should clean up well. However, with just a bit of elbow grease and perhaps some rust remover. The file in the photo is not in the best of condition. If you do not want it, it does not have to be shipped, however, that is up to the buyer. No return. But the condition is at least as good as described, and is probably on the better side. Mounts on your bench with 2 bolts, see mounting slots on bottom. Wood is not stock, previous owner put it on and you can replace it with whatever you'd like with 4 screws per side. Large clamping area and the wood- or whatever material you use, prevents damage. Please see photos. Fits in a USPS large flat rate box. Shipping weight is 13 pounds.
