Hello and up for grabs is this Vintage Stanley Wood Working Clamp Mount Corner Vice. Model No. 702-Made In England- in Beautiful Used Vintage Condition. It features a silver painted Aluminum body. Chromed steel hardware and has the Original 1/2" plywood plates lining the jaw faces. It shows mild signs of use with a slight ding or scratch here and there but No major scratches. Gouges or chrome loss issues. The plywood jaw face plates are Very clean with no indents or gouges of any kind. The Jaw Dimensions of this tool are roughly 4 1/4" tall x 6 1/2" across-Left to Right fully open with a 3 1/4" grip capacity} x 5" deep. The table mount clamp will accommodate tables or workbenches up to 2 3/16" thick. VINTAGE STANLEY NO. 700 PORTABLE WORK SURFACE CLAMP-ON "L" JAW WOODWORKERS VISE
Older estate find. This auction is for a vintage STANLEY No. 700- MADE IN USA portable surface mounting"L" jaw woodworkers vise. The jaws are lined with 1/4" tempered hardboard/pressboard which can be replace by screw mountings when it gets worn down. There is evidence of some wear now but still very useable. The top jaws are 5" wide for horizontal holding and the side jaws are 4 1/4" for vertical holding. Jaws are 1 3/4" deep. Jaws are slack free and are guided by two rods- the threaded screw rod and a smooth rod below to insure rigidity and easy operation. It looks to be capable of being mounted to surfaces just under 2 1/2" thick. Steel parts are nickel plated and the rest of the tool is a dark navy blue color.
