VINTAGE OXY ACETYLENE CUTTING TORCH For auction is a vintage oxy acetylene cutting torch. This vintage cutting torch is bad ass. It has the look. It has the patina, and it obviously was heavy duty and used well. Welders- This has not been tested and is being sold as is. Gas valves turn and the oxy trigger snaps back nicely. Use your good judgment. Rat Rod builders- This torch would make a bad ass shifter. The approximately 1 1/2" diameter brass handle would make an excellent grip. Total length of torch is approximately 20" Steampunk lamp builders- This torch would make a great one off lamp in your hands. Lots of brass and has that heavy industrial look that is so desired. Man Cave- This would look great mounted and framed and hung in a Man Cave as a conversation piece. The nameplate for this torch was placed right where a welders ... morethumb would have gripped the handle and being brass the name has worn off. I can just make out the words CUTTING TORCH" and some of the serial numbers. Very nice vintage piece. Odd shape to weigh on my small postal scale but looks like approximately 3 pounds. This is for a Vintage Brass Purox CW-202/ W-201 Oxygen Acetylene Cutting Torch. The Purox cutting torch is used and has some normal wear and scratches from use. It has not been tested but was told it worked right the last time it was used which was awhile back. The torch does have numbers engraved in three places which can be seen in the photos. The knobs all turn freely and the hose threads look good. The Purox cutting torch measures approx. 16-3/8" long from the head to the end of the hose threads. This is a lot of vintage barn fresh cutting torches in untested used condition. I would say they are probably for display only. There are 3 pieces included. One is a 19" long Craftsman. It has some soldering on the base and has no handle. Also includes an 18.5" long s-s co from Brooklyn NY. The last piece is a 9.5" long Bottom part of a Meco weldmaster. The 2 larger pieces appear to be made of brass. They all have some wear. Scufs, scratches, surface rust. See photos. Comes from a clean smoke free home. We combine shipping.

It is what it is. And being sold as is. Good to fix and use. Restoration or as parts. Torch and regulators say they are distributed by National Cylinder Gas(NGC) and have a RegO trade mark. VINTAGE NOS PUROX W-201 WELDING CUTTING OUTFIT-UNION CARBIDE -TORCH SET
PUROX combination brazing welding cutting outfit. My guess is from the 70's or 80's, regulator bodies are solid brass and yes the handle is a W-201, torch head is CW-300 everything about this set is heavy duty, hose is soft and flexible. Set looks barely used. There is a slight bit of corrosion on the rosebud tip that I was just too lazy to clean off before the picture. Everything else in this set is nearly immaculate.

For sale is a vintage lot of cutting and welding Oxweld torch set by Linde Company. The handle base welding blowpipe is marked as model W-17. The cutting head attachment is marked Oxweld as model CW-22. There is an extra cutting tip. The welding attachments are marked Oxweld and fits both models W-17 and W-22. The gas valve is marked Airco. The valve is for the acetylene tank. Not sure if the gauges work. Since the tank pressure gauge is not on the correct zero. Finally, included is a small propane tank attachment torch. These came from an estate sale, and selling as is. No returns. See pictures for condition and details.
