Prest O Lite Regulator Torch & Gauge w/ Hose 79A4 UNION CARBIDE LINDE R 411 MC
This is the Torch. Etc. that you see here. I don't know a ton about this piece, as I picked it up second-hand. It apprear to me to be a dual tip torch with a PREST O LITE regulator and a UNION CARBIDE LINDE gauge. The name"LINDE" is molded into the hard plastic or Bakelite knob you see in the second picture. The long hose appears to be in great shape. The gauge is missing the glass lens, but the needle moves. Not sure what parts are missing(welding tips? as I am not an expert nor a dealer in these items. I assume that it works, but cannot guarantee it, as I have no way to test it, so consider this when buying. It will come shipped in 2 pieces, as shown in the last picture. Thanks.

I bought this Presto-O-Lite R-413 regulator intending to use with my Prest-O-Lite acetylene torch. Unfortunately. The threads on my tank are 5/8” external and the threads on this regulator are 7/8” external, my guess is that this regulator is intended for a large acetylene tank. Aside from some pitting of the plating it is in good shape and the seller told me it had never been used. Instruction sheet and parts list are included.

This auction is for 2 Prest-O-Lite acetylene torches. I have used them both but no longer need them. They come with four tips; sizes POL-5. POL-4, POL-3& POL-2. I'm also including what I believe is a"CGA-200 MC Acetylene Cylinder To CGA-520 B Tank Regulator" adapter. The gauge lens bezel on one of the regulators is broken(you can clearly see this in the pictures) The gauge works but the bezel and lens will fall off unless you tape or glue them on. This is a vintage Prest-O-Lite acetylene regulator in used condition. Type R-411-B. Made in USA. It can use a good cleaning. One of the lenses has a crack in it as shown in the pictures. It is untested. I got it at an estate sale in a box with several other gas regulators so it is sold as is with no guarantees. The back says Linde Air Products Company Made in USA Type R-411-B and UL inside a circle. This is a vintage Prest-O-Lite compressed dissolved acetylene gas tank. It has the numbers X 50 3978M9-3 ICC-8 9T42 around top. There is some wear from age. A few dings and some oxidation on the finish but over all its in decent condition. it has wood handle with metal straps attached. There is a gauge in the bottom(see photo#12) It stands approx. 15" tall overall and is approx. 3-3/4" diameter. It is empty.
