I have this estate auction find a 18 inch oxy cutting torch made by Harris shined it up to find numbers that were not there. It has a small 6 at the back and a big E at the tip by the Harris stamp. Must be pretty old with so few numbers and that means well made. The rest of the numbers on the listing are on the copper tip. He had lots of welding equipment at the sale mig tig ark and oxy and his wife said he used it till he died any questions please ask and thanks for looking at Bigpopy1. The base and the head both say"Smith Lifetime Guarantee" on them. The head part has the#A60324, and on the base it has#21073 B. The valves all open and everything seems to work freely, though as stated, I know nothing about this item and it is sold as is.

VINTAGE MILBURN CUTTING TORCH VERY LARGE LOCKING AIR BLAST
Up for auction we have a large Milburn cutting torch. It has patent dates from 1918 and 1919 on it. It is heavy and made of brass and copper. It is about 23" long and the hole in the tip is nearly 1/8" across. It obviously was built to do some serious cutting and maybe still could. There is a small bend just below the head. But none of the solder joints are cracked, so it shouldn't affect anything. I can not attest to the condition of the valves. It has something else I've never seen on a cutting torch- a lock on the air blast valve. If you press it and pull the round thumb button back, the air blast stays engaged. I did not test this- I'm out of oxygen on my cutting rig and my oxygen regulator is not working. I will answer any questions you e-mail me to the best of my ability.
