This power supply was made for powering CO2 lasers and can supply up to 150 watts of power continuously. It would be a great addition to a hobbyists lab for producing high voltage to create plasma. Drive an ion or electron gun, or, of course, drive a high powered CO2 laser. I was able to cycle the switch enough to finally get it to stay ON and put a load on the supply to test it. This supply is classified as a"parts" supply due to the ON/OFF switch issue.
