USA made Sorenson Raytheon DCR-300 35A DC Power Supply. This huge fellow is 300v and 35a, and very hard to find. Judging from the serial number only a few hundred were made. I pulled this from a rack of process control equipment. It was not marked as being defective, and looks good, but is sold untested. You might need to change out some components, or it might be ready to go as is when plugged in. The DCR series is Sorenson/Raytheon's best series. I'm guessing this weighs 250 to 350 pounds. It does not have wheels. But has four hooks on the top for moving it. I'm limited on my ability to move heavy items, so this will be shipped on ... morea pallet and strapped down, wrapped in plastic. Due to weight. It will have to be sent via Alaska Airlines Air Freight. They go to many cities across the country, but you will have to pick it up at their air freight office at their closest location to you. sorenson DCR60-18B power supply
This Sorenson DCR60-18B is operational in that I have tested it to 14 volts. And 25 amps of load. I do not have a load bank capable of testing it to the limits. However it was removed from working service at the time I purchased it. Unfortunately even as a ham radio operator, I have not found a personal need for this much horsepower. The Sorenson DCR series is a 0- 60V. 0- 18Amp supply capable of being run in parallel operation, if 800 watts of power isn’t enough. It also features a remote sensing feature for monitoring power at your load, rather than at the power supply terminals. The voltage and current controls are also remotely controllable. It also features a remote shutdown circuit for turning the power off and on. The DCR60 has crossover capability and will regulate both power as well as current: You set the upper limits for both controls, ... moreand the supply will hold the voltage until your maximum specified current is reached, at which time it will hold at the maximum current specification. This is an industrial quality. Precision voltage and current power supply. This particular unit is clean and appears to be fully operational. It’s also heavy, like 44 to 50 pounds, and shipping charges will be charged appropriate for this system. It will be securely packed and I will charge actual shipping charges: No hidden handling fees. There is no warranty with this supply. It does. However, power my amateur radio equipment, and it is clean with only some peripheral handling scratches that you would expect from a 25 year old piece of industrial lab equipment.
