Description This auction is for a used Tektronix TCP202 15 AMP AC/DC Current Probe with ground lead in like-new condition except for 1 very small scratch(See Photos) I have personal knowledge of the history and usage of this current probe. It was used in a rarely used Test Setup in a Class 1000 clean room of an FDA certified Medical Device Manufacturer. This probe was successfully re-calibrated every 6 months and only used by trained personnel for specific failure analysis procedures. It was removed from service due to facility closure. This current probe is in excellent ... morelike-new condition. Except for one very small scratch. There are no other scratches, dents, cuts, scrapes, cracks or discoloration of any kind. The connector, cable and the probe itself have been completely inspected for any signs of damage or misuse. The entire probe assembly is completely clean no labels, residue or markings(other than a small number label to identify identical items for sale) Please see the attached photos. All of the photos are of the actual item you will receive unless noted. During inspection particular attention was paid to the Probe Head. Jaws and Conductor Opening area of the probe. U sing oversize conductors or c arelessly closing the probe head of Probes of this design often leads to cracks in the black lower body half radiating out from the conductor opening. It can also cause breakage and loss of the“bail” locking feature that the tab fits into at the end of the probe. Cracks at the conductor opening area can often be difficult to see. Applying gentle pressure to the“jaw” of the lower body helps in identifying them. Tektronix AM503B Current Probe Amplifier, TM502A Two Bay Chassis, and Instruction Manuals for all three(in links below) All in very good condition with normal scuffs and scrapes for their age. All details shown in attached pictures. The Tektronix A6213 Current Probe is rated to 100 MHz and with a rise time of less than 3.5 nS when paired with the AM503B Amplifier. DC gain accuracy is better than 3% Probe is good to +- 20 Amps up to 10 KHz then is derated to 2 amps at 100 MHz. This probe pairs nicely with the included AM503B Current Probe Amplifier. All ranges on the amplifier work and it has a fresh NVRAM battery. I ran a couple of calibrations that are show in the photographs. Note the scope is NOT included in this auction. I have One Tektronix Model P6042 Current Probe With Amplifier. This Tektronix current probe and amplifier combined measures current with DC-50MHz bandwidth and up to 20A levels. To use it properly requires a wideband scope with a 10mV input scale. A length of 50 Ohm cable with BNC connectors and a 50 Ohm termination resistor. This Unit is used. Description I have personal knowledge of the history and usage of this current probe. It was used in a rarely used Test Setup in a Class 1000 clean room of an FDA certified Medical Device Manufacturer. This probe was successfully re-calibrated every 6 months and only used by trained personnel for specific failure analysis procedures when the primary unit was ... moreout for calibration. It was removed from service due to facility closure. This auction is for a used Tektronix TCP202 15 AMP AC/DC 50 MHz Current Probe with ground lead and Full Instruction Manual 070-9542-02 in like-new condition(except for a few very small wear spots on one side of the compensation box. See Photos) There are no other scratches. Dents, cuts, scrapes, cracks or discoloration of any kind. The connector, cable and the probe itself have been completely inspected for any signs of damage, misuse or ageing. The entire probe assembly is completely clean no labels, residue or markings(other than a small number label to identify identical items for sale) Please see the attached photos. All of the photos are of the actual item you will receive unless noted. During inspection particular attention was paid to the Probe Head. Jaws and Conductor Opening area of the probe. U sing oversize conductors or c arelessly closing the probe head of robes of this model often leads to cracks in the black lower body half radiating out from the conductor opening. Tektronix AM503S with AM503B Current Probe Amplifier & TM502A & A6302 Probe
Item Description: For sale today is a Tektronix AM503S current measurement system consisting of a TM502A Power Module with the AM503B Current Probe Amplifier and an A6302 Current Probe. The toolbox plug in. A power cord, a short BNC cable, and a ground clip for the probe are included with the system. Note that the serial number sticker on the AM503B matches the serial number of the TM502. The system only comes with the pieces as described. No other cords/cables/plugs/accessories included. Pictures are of the actual items. Condition: The TM502A frame is in good physical condition. It has some sticker residue. See last picture. All of the rubber feet are present. The TM502A works properly with the AM503B plug in which is also in good physical condition. The unit powers up with no errors when properly terminated at the scope. The internal battery ... morewas checked at 1.5 volts and the AM503B remembers the last settings used when powered up. The degauss button works properly and the knobs and connectors are in good condition. I am more familiar with setting up the older AM503 amplifiers than this one but as far as I can tell. It all works properly. The system was plugged in and connected to an oscilloscope(oscilloscope not included) and the current readings for AC and DC signals were close to expected values. The bottom trace on the scope pictures is the output from a signal generator. Which is generating a sine and square wave into a 100 ohm load. The current probe output is the upper trace. The A6302 probe is in good condition, no cracks on the plastic(see pictures) The probe cable and connector are in good condition and the probe opens, closes and locks OK.
