The Sinking Blue Hydraulic Office Chair
Up for auction is a blue chair. This chair has 5 wheels and is in fantastic shape except for the fact that the hydraulics makes you sink when you sit in it. There are replacement hydraulic kits selling for $20 or so. So this chair is not a lost cause. If someone is handy and can fix this with a replacement part. Then this person would have a really nice chair for a very inexpensive cost. However. Kids might be able to use this with no problem. It seems they are light enough to not have the chair sink. 6 armless desk chairs. Heavy duty office chairs on 6 castors each. Great looking professional chairs made by Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc. Price is for all 6 chairs. Fully adjustable with easy to reach levers for Seat Angle. Height, and Back Angle, plus adjustable lumbar support on all but one chair which is missing the little rubber bulb on the back. Very comfortable, these were used in a computer training classroom. Chairs have some scuffs from normal wear and tear. While the seat backs can slide forward and backward as well, the adjustment nobs under some chairs may have a crack so turning it they slip, but a wrench will loosen or tighten the nut for that adjustment. The Jasper Chair Company never did give their chairs series names. The chair is only known as Model#888. Was told the chair is very old because it has Gros Point material on the seat and that fabric was discontinued by them in 1973. The back and arms are covered in vinyl. According to their Law Tag. The chair is about 45-48 years old. The chair is in good shape for its age. On the front. Of both arms, there is a little bit of vinyl missing. I tried to demonstrate this in my photos.
