Herman Miller Caper Multipurpose Operator/Task Chair w/ Flexnet, Arms & Casters
CHAIR IS DAMAGED and needs repair to be operational again. The story: In trying to replace the seat pan. I was unable to remove the bolt attaching it to the main assembly. Sawing the broken seat assembly(see photos) allowed for more leverage on the bolt. However, unfortunately I am horrible with tools, and managed to break a bolt extractor in my attempt to remove the bolt that attaches the seat pan to the main chair assembly(see photo) I will never try to use a bolt extractor again. While I am sad that it is currently beyond my skills to repair it. I hope that someone has the tools and technique to fix an otherwise great chair. All of the aluminum body mechanics.
