HP8753B- for parts Network Analyzer. 300kHz-6GHz The 8753B provides excellent RF network measurements for the lab and production test areas. The integrated synthesized source provides 100 mW of output power, 1 Hz frequency resolution, and linear, log, list, power, and CW sweep types. Three tuned, 300 kHz to 6 GHz receivers allow versatile independent power measurements or simultaneous ratio measurements over a 100 dB dynamic range. The instrument has a 0.0-5 dB dynamic accuracy over a 40 dB range. It can also be used for swept harmonic measurements and time domain analysis. This unit isn’t working properly. The display has gone haywire. It will show just a few lines, then suddenly show a nearly complete graphic for a while, then change. You can see from the pic it’s missing a part of the bezel, and there’s a crack in the front glass(very hard to see, I had to get the light just right to photograph it) Also the bottom button on the column of buttons just right of the display is loose. It just needs to be glued to the PCB, other than that it’s not damaged. I just don’t have the time to try to repair this thing. All I can guarantee is that the unit powers up. Other than that, it’s a fair bet that if you know what you’re doing you can repair it or failing that, use it for parts. I have collected quite a bunch of documents(PDFs) which will be included, including schematics and such for the 1349A which is the display subsystem.
