For sale is a used working HP 8445B tracking preselector with both options 002& 003. Normal 0 The HP 84453 Tracking Preselector contains a YIG filter which tracks the tuned frequency of the analyzer over the range 1.8 to 18 GHz. The preselector suppresses the image and multiple responses which result from harmonic mixing. The preselector can also reduce distortion and increase dynamic range when signal separation exceeds the preselector bandwidth. For tuned frequencies-below 1.8 GHz. A low pass fi lter prevents image and multiple responses. An optional LED display provides a readout of marker frequency with 1 MHz resolution. Although this preselector was primarily intended to be used in conjunction with the HP 141T 8555A microwave spectrum analyzer options 002& 003. This is a fully functional HP 8592L Spectrum Analyzer(9KHz- 22 GHz) and has a brand new CRT Assembly installed. I have tested it out for several weeks with test signals and over the air signals. It calibrates itself within the HP specifications and passes the confidence test. Internally it is free of dust. The only option in this Spectrum Analyzer is Option 041 which is the HPIB interface option. Included with this are both the Users Manual and Programmers Guide. Vintage. Probably around the late 1970's, Texscan portable style spectrum analyzer, Model VSM-2C with range of 4-1000 MHz. Outside case has some small dings and scratches but otherwise looks good. All the knobs are there. All labels are clearly marked. Screen is clear of cracks. The only thing there is no power cord. It could possibly work fine. The whole thing closes up nicely inside the case and is easily carried by the handle. Very mobile. I am selling this as is. It could just need a cord and/or some TLC.
