FOR ACCURACY: These 2 uniface proofs were presumably once attached to card or other paper and removed. There was damage. Some of which, as the holders state, was repaired. All of this happened prior to my ownership, my only change has been the grading, many years into my ownership. Other than the lower right corner of the face there are a couple small paper pulls/thins, on reverse, up the right side and another tiny one along the bottom edge. On the reverse proof the top border is a bit wavy and there are 2 small paper pulls/thins along the bottom edge, on the unprinted side. However the eye appeal also matches the UNC grades as well. Rare PROOF pairing. Face is PMG NET 60 and the reverse is PMG NET 61, repairs, edge nicks. PMG has graded but two pairs of this note as PROOFS! This is a Vintage Wicker Fishing Creel and a Vintage Pak Net Fish Net with a Leather Holder. The Wicker Fishing Creel has leather trim and has the leather harness and the leather strap with buckle closure is intact. The Creel has been used and has wear(see photos) There is a faint measurement ruler imprinted on the lid top on the trim. There is blue paint on the bottom of it. Spots of paint on the front and spots on the harness as well(see photos) I do not know if there is any way to remove the paint. Other than the paint. It is in pretty nice condition. It does need some cleaning. The fishing creel lid is approx 10 1/2" in length and approx 5 1/2" wide. The creel is approx 7" high on the back side(not including the lid) The bottom measures approx 14" long and 5 1/2" wide. There is one small repair at the bottom where the piece hangs down. Its about 2.5" long, I am not sure if thats the part that hangs at the end of the bed or if it goes under the pillow. Antique Victorian unused cream net & Valenciennes lace veil
You are buying an antique cream unused net lace veil with Valenciennes lace trim to the frill that is attached to three sides. Where the lace is attached to the net is also a run of pale blue satin narrow ribbon threaded through. At the top edge(no lace) the net has been turned to form a channel and a drawstring threaded through. This could be a curtain but as it was bought at auction along with a petticoat or skirt flounce with identical lace trim I wondered if it may have been a veil. It measures 81" wide by 65" long. Shown in the photos on a size UK 10 mannequin to give you an idea of how it would look. Not washed and would benefit from washing- it is currently cream but could become paler after a hand wash. Really cool, old vintage folding fishing net (Still usable)
This fishing net is made with a fold-able metal you can twist and insert into the leather holster.Marked Handy no-snagg PAK Shamokin PA Pat. Pending. The net is in very good shape for as old as it is. As you can see in the third picture. The net may need to be re knotted? at the base of the handle only. 5 X 10 HEAVY BLACK FISHING FLOAT FISH NET NETTING (#N58)
This is a 5 feet x 10 feet piece of heavy fishing net we beachcombed on the Washington coast(1-8-11) The measurements are taken by counting the 3 inch squares. You will need to fasten in numerous places to stretch the net back into shape. The cord is stiff and needs some stretching to get the full measurements. If you just lay out the net it will measure 1 foot short side to side and 1 foot short top to bottom. Just letting everyone know. The pattern measures about 3"X3" squares and the BLACK cord the netting is made with is about 1/8" wide. It is in good used condition and is not like the new stuff everyone is selling. Would be a great piece for decoration or another use! This piece was cut from a huge piece we found. There could be some fading of color here and there. Remember that this stuff probably caught Salmon or some ... moreother fish at one time. Lucky for us it broke loose from its floats and wash up on the beach! There is a musty smell or ocean smell from the netting being in the salt water but can be easily washed in a sink of soap or bleach. Gets rid of the smell all together! We have washed the seaweed and sand from this netting but have not used soap. This netting is the real thing. Its used and not like the light duty net everyone else is selling. You could throw a bowling ball at this stuff and not hurt it! It would look great in a room with a nautical theme. Poolside, porch, or for decoration of your choice. We accept Paypal. 4 X 8 BLACK FISHING FLOAT FISH NET NETTING uneven (#N33)
NO HANDLING FEES! EVER! This is a 4 feet x 8 feet piece of heavy fishing net we beachcombed on the Washington coast(1-8-11) You will need to fasten in numerous places to stretch the net back into shape. The cord is stiff and needs some stretching to get the full measurements. If you just lay out the net it will measure 1 foot short side to side and 1 foot short top to bottom. Just letting everyone know. The pattern measures about 2 inch diamonds and the BLACK cord the netting is made with is about 1/16" wide. It is in good used condition and is not like the new stuff everyone is selling. Would be a great piece for decoration or another use! This piece was cut from a huge piece we found. There could be some fading of color here and there. Remember that this stuff probably caught Salmon or some other fish at one time. Lucky for us it broke ... moreloose from its floats and wash up on the beach! There is a musty smell or ocean smell from the netting being in the salt water but can be easily washed in a sink of soap or bleach. Gets rid of the smell all together! We have washed the seaweed and sand from this netting but have not used soap. This netting is the real thing. Its used and not like the light duty net everyone else is selling. You could throw a bowling ball at this stuff and not hurt it! It would look great in a room with a nautical theme. Poolside, porch, or for decoration of your choice. We accept Paypal.
