Most of the bandages and dressings are present, but many of the medicines are gone or only have a few left. Also, a few of the boxes do not appear to match the master chart on the inside lid. This is a"Euro" E28 first aid kit. It fits in the trunk of the BMW E28. The listing includes 1 first aid case. 1 first aid kit, 1 bracket, 1 screw, 1 captive nut. The case has some scratches(notably on the front. and possibly some discoloration of the plastic on the left side. It did not come off with water and a paper towel. I did not try any other means. The contents of the kit have one open"pouch, and it appears a previous owner used at least one item from it. Installation on US E28's is well documented online. The kit is also used in various locations on other BMW of the same period including the E23. Although the bracket is not used to my knowledge in those applications. The company that made or supplied the items in the kit is Medical Supply Company of Rockford, IL and they were a supplier to our troops in WWII. The kit is a vinyl material with a grommet so that it could be hung on a wall or wherever needed. The kit can also be rolled up and closed with two snaps. There are not any rips. Tears, or punctures to the material. The supplies in the kit are all original! The only item in the kit ever opened and used is the an Ammonia Inhalants. The package is missing 1 inhalant from the box. Everything else is still sealed in the original outer plastic wrappers. The Kip-Tannic Burn salve tubes appear to used but are not. The tin box was meant to be worn on the Boy Scout's belt. Included is a first aid guide, approximately 10 yards of 1" Red Cross Bandage, gauze, tablets for purifying drinking water in canteens, 1/8 fluid ounce jar of Metaphen, which is a first-aid solution(it looks like most of it is dried out) and a 24 ply package of 3" X 3" picric Acid gauze pads for burns. There is very minimum wear on the tin box. The initials"BA" are written on the top of the box.
