Stanley No. 9 1/2 Block Plane. S Casting. Good User Plane
Here is 6 inch Stanley number 9 1/2 standard angle block plane. It has the S cating marks on the cap. Body, and mouth plate. There is the patent date of 8-3-97 cast into the body. The body has no damage or repairs and is in good useable shape! There is a little darkening to the bare iron and a few scratches as shown in the pics. It retains 80 percent of it's black japanning on the body and about 60 percent on the cap. The loss is mainly on the hood of the cap. All adjustments work as they should. The mouth is good and closes up tight for thin shavings. The cap works fine and has the lever below the cap. Cutter is long, has 1 1/16 inches left to the slot, and has the Stanley Rule and Level Co. J logo. There is a bit of etching on the cutter as shown. Overall the plane is in good condition with all it's parts, and will take nice shavings ... moreif sharpened properly. These are a good tool in your hand tool aresenal. They are small and will fit in your apron pocket for that quick touch up. As always, take a look at the pictures. I try my best to show everything, so you know exactly what you are getting. That is important to me. However, I am no expert, so please review the pictures carefully and make that judgment for yourself. The plane is clean with a bright patina, some minor pitting, and minimal rust. The plane is made heavy to do the work without wearing out the user. This tool is completely usable with no obvious damage. The japanning is fine, with original wood and more than 80% of the original finish, with a smooth surface and edges slightly rounded. The maker's marks are clear and legible. There are two patent dates, Feb 25-02 and Aug 18-02. It’s in great condition for its age! This is a great addition to any collection! Don’t pass this one up!

Up for auction is a very nice Abu Ambassadeur 5500C baitcasting reel. The reel was made in Sweden and is so marked. There is serial number on the foot. Which is 750202. The reel is in excellent condition. As can be seen in the photos, there is no rash on the side plates on this reel. There is one tiny spot about 1 inch under the"High Speed" label on the crank side. It is about 2mm and I cannot feel it. I have tried to show it in the 1st and 2nd photos. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the cosmetic condition of this reel. Mechanically, the reel in in good working order. The action is super smooth and the release, level wind and star drag mechanisms work fine. Shakespeare #1744, 1926 model tournament casting reel with free spool rim lever
You can tell this was somebody's prize caster in 1926. Put the rim lever in free spool. And give the spool a spin with your finger. You won't believe it. It has been cleaned, relubed, oiled and is tournament smooth. Other than the model 26 markings on the foot, the word"tournament" is all that appears on the reel, tailplate) The click is strong, and of course the free spool lever is operational. The reel has some wear/pitting on the spool flanges and on the headplate, but it's a tough reel to find in any condition. You won't be disappointed in how that spool turns. Up for auction is this nice vintage Garcia Conolon Three Star green casting rod. The rod is in very good condition for its age showing some light signs of user wear.With a some light scuffs and scratches. Nothing deep. There are no frayed wrappings and all guides are present with no corrosion. The main guide is a little bent. The cork handle is free of chips and cracks. The label for the most part reads: Garcia Conolon Made in U.S.A. Three Star, Medium Action Fast Taper, 3/8- 3/4 oz. Lures; 8-20 LB. Pflueger Vintage 1965 Automatic Fly Casting Reel
Up for auction is this like new 1965 Pflueger Superex Model No. 755 Automatic Fly Reel. This reel looks new. It has the fly line already wound on, but it appears to have never been used. I wound the spring up and pulled the trigger and it works great, the line retreived very smoothly. It is lightweight{9 oz. and is designed for quick take-apart. It holds 32 yards of"C" line. Retrieves 24 yards of line per spring wind. Free stripping clutch allows more line to go out after spring is wound to capacity. Handsome aluminum anodized housing with stainless steel crossplate, line guide, and axle. Brass gears and stainless steel pinion.
