Sellers Cabinet Hoosier Style Flour Sifter Wood Oak Slag Stained Glass Windows
A fine example of the Hoosier style cabinet so popular in the early part of the last century. Oak and mixed woods construction with amber slag glass in the top cabinet doors. The sifter is intact and working. The tambour side-rolling doors are missing. And the latch to the center top door was replaced at some point with a hook and eye that works quite well for the purpose. As in many of these cabinets, the trays are missing from the bottom large cupboard and the sliding top is gone from the metal bread drawer. The cabinet measures 70" tall by 40" wide and 24" deep when the porcelain top is slid back, about 30-32" when it is slid out to make a larger work surface. These are beautiful pieces that come in the original wood frame. The windows measure approximately 16 1/4" x 45 1/4" in the frame. It features some really nice colors with a classic Prairie style design. There is a row of clear textured glass around the edges with multi-colored designs in the upper center and an arrow shape in the lower center. There are green and caramel colored panels with accent pieces that look like reflective gold foil. These windows came from an early 1900's home on the south side of Chicago. Antique Wood Dollhouse Very Fragile! This listing is for a fabulous wood dollhouse in a smaller scale. Measures approximately 14' deep x 16" wide x 18" tall. It is VERY old and appears to be all original paint with no modern repairs. It has been in my collection for several years and I have decided to do some down-sizing. One glass window has fallen out and one lace curtain fell off a window. There are also several loose shingles and one chimney is loose. All loose parts are included for you to repair as you wish. You can see labels from several cigar boxes on the underside of the roof. My plan was always to build a separate interior to insert without interferring with the antique shell since there are no rooms inside. You could also just put a light inside and display it as-is. The door is made of solid Pine, and features 9 wavy glass lites and 3 raised panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. Christian Hacker Garage Wood With Glass Windows All Original And Complete, Rare
Up for sale is an all original garage issued in the late 1910's and early 1920's by Christian Hacker. The rare garage was sold along with at least four other similarly designed buildings at the same time period. The garage measures approximately 17" high by 20" long by 14" wide. The roof lifts off for access to the interior. The exterior walls have a nice brick design paper covering and the interior also has a nice paper pattern for the walls and floor. Three original reverse painted windows are mounted in the front above the doors. Both doors have clear glass and open nicely. All hardware appears to be original. It does not appear that any repairs or paint touch up have been performed on this garage. This garage came out of a private collection and is museum quality. Penn Antique Restoration. 32"x77" Vintage Exterior Pine Door w/ 3 Recessed Panels& 3 Glass Lites. Charming. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern New Jersey. The door is made of solid pine and has 3 glass lites and 3 recessed panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, and soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and features an impressive arrangement of 10 true-divided old-fashioned. Hand-blown, wavy glass lites. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This shutter was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more ... moreinsect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However.
