This piece dates to the last half of the 1700s or first half of the 1800s. We don't have much to go on with regards to maker. Country of origin, or date, but it is a well made silver piece regardless. The creamer is raised on an ornate pedestal base. The lid is hinged and has a thumbpiece and finial. The creamer is beautifully hand-chased with designs of scrolls and acanthus leaves. The interior has a gold wash and is clean and ready for use. This piece is in great condition. Offered are 7 thumb latch door handles. I have had these for about 40 years thinking I would use them. I know this is a man's thing& I don't know a whole lot about them other than I've always liked them. I was going to list them separately but I couldn't remember what latch went to what handle. One latch is not here. There is light surface rust but I know they will clean up nicely. 3 of the handles are the same. I'm not positive but I think their Norfolk style. Wrought iron, American latch circa 1800-1820. 8 3/4" high, 1 1/2" wide. The one with the pewter handle is Norfolk style, 7 3/4" high, 1 1/4" wide, early 19th century, a piece of the pewter is gone, it looks like it happened long ago. One is Norfolk style from 2nd quarter of 19th century with unusual feathered decorative feature in center ... moreof handle, 7 1/4" high, 1 3/4" wide. I have seen this one sell for $110.00. The one with the knob in the middle is 6 1/2" long. 1 1/2" wide. The one with the separate thumb latch is 6 1/2" long. I may be completely wrong on my facts because they look so primitive to me. Up for auction is a brass door handle and lock plate. A knob and a hinge. The large side of the hinge has a slight bend, the handle rod has a slight bend also and I don't know if all of the inner workings of the lock set are there. Rod is approximately 3 1/2" long lock plate is 5"X2 1/8" knob is 1 3/4" w X 1 1/4" d, hinge 4" long X 3 5/16 at it's widest. I will combine shipping where it is possible.
