Antique ART DECO Oak Leaded Stained Glass Curio Cabinet w/ Ivory Key Inserts
You are bidding on an ART DECO Curio. Display case that has many specialized and individual intended uses. The case came from a smoke free home and has been the safe keeping of an extensive toy soldier collection for many years. The safe keeping is strongly due to a dual locking case. The piece is in excellent condition, with the occasional scratch and scrape from a misguided chair or sweeper. The Ivory pieces surrounding the key holes are yellowing and that comes from age. The piece measures 49"H x 30"W 11.5" D. The glass shelves are individually wrapped for protection and that is the reason for not showing the glass. There are 5 shelves and two of the five have two pieces of glass as the shelf. The only flaw that I found with the piece is a missing metal foot on the rear left. Key warks great, no broken, loose or missing ... moreglass panes and all hinges are solid, The piece has 3 hinges per door, which shows good craftsmanship. Silver-plate, with colbalt blue glass inserts, these are Vintage, you can see a few small bubbles in glass since it has been handblown. As old has this set, it has never been used, The spoons are still wrapped. This set was made by Roger Brothers Company, a well know name, the silver plate holders are Orante and very detailed, It is not easy to find a complete still in the Origanl box. Up for no reserve auction is a pair of original Tiffany Studios Favrile glass inserts for a candle lamp. I bought a large grouping of original Tiffany parts and am starting to sell off some of the items. As you can see. They are slightly different sizes. The diamer of the main part is a little over 1.125" The smaller insert end is approximately.75" One is 5.5" long and the other is 5.25" The longer tube has a repair at the top. Approximately a 1"x1" piece has been glued. I show it in the last picture. It's a great repair. Very hard to see. The shorter tube is in very good condition. There are 15 Ball lids, 5 Atlas, 8 without a name and 2 Presto Aluminum lids. All of the zinc liners are in great condition and have no chips or cracks. The jar rubbers are in the original Ball box and are the early kind with the single tab. The box has 3/29 on the top for the price I guess. All of the rubbers are new but the box has a piece of tape holding on the lid and is discolored from age. Two of the glass inserts are Presto and 2 have Atlas EDJ Seal on top. For sale is a used vintage wooden tray with 5 glass inserts. The four smaller glass inserts measure 4 inches by 4 inches. The larger glass insert is 8 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches. The four smaller glass inserts fit perfectly inside the larger glass insert. The actual wooden tray measures 18 1/4 inches from handle to handle by 9 1/2 inches. 3 MINIATURE ISRAELI OLIVE WOOD VASES W/ REMOVABLE GLASS INSERTS, VINTAGE 1960'S
Three Miniature Israeli Olive Wood Vases. Vintage 1960's With removable glass inserts Here are three lovely little olive wood vases with removable glass inserts. They were purchased in Jerusalem in the late 1960's. And still have remnants of the Israel gold stickers on the sides. They have been in my mother's woodenware collection ever since. They are 3 1/8" tall and 1 3/4" top diameter. The vase on the far left has a naturally occurring small split in the wood on top. Slightly visible in the photo of the tops. Two of the glass inserts remove quite easily, though they are snug. The third is tight enough that I didn't risk trying to remove it. There are no chips or other condition issues. They each measure 6.5cm(2.75" in height and 2.5cm(1" in diameter. The box has some slight wear and tear. The glass has no scratches, chips or cracks but there are a few scuff marks on the chrome from use and age. The whole piece stands about 7" tall and the tray is 11" across. The bottom of the tray has a very ornate pattern. There is a handle for carrying. Each glass insert has a chrome lid with a knob. Inserts measure 6" X 4" and have a bubble pattern on the bottom and on the ouside edge. Antique Art Deco Skyscraper Chandelier Large Hanging Fixture Cut Glass Inserts
This is a great old chandelier A metal frame with beveled glass and skyscraper finials The hanging rods are brass- the other metal is iron with removable glass panels The metal has all been painted silver Each piece of glass is cased- white opaque glass over clear Each of the 25 smaller glass panels is hand cut and beveled on the ends In addition there are five larger pieces which have a pinwheel cut in the center. This vintage chandelier has gilt arms with exterior French wiring The chandelier has sockets for five lightbulbs- the wiring is in bad shape and it cannot be used without rewiring. Whoever installs the chandelier for you should be able to rewire it This is a pretty large fixture The height from the top of the ceiling canopy(that is where it attaches to the ceiling) to the bottom finial is 43 1/4 inches(110 cm) As you can see in ... morethe photos the finial on the ceiling canopy matches the finial on the bottom of the chandelier- a really nice touch The chains that are on it now could be adjusted by removing a link or two without damaging the integrity of the fixture if you need it to be a few inches shorter The widest dimension across the five sided glass chandelier is 20 inches The height of the smaller glass panels is 10 inches by 2 inches The larger glass panels 11 by 3.5 inches There are some condition issues 2 small glass panels are broken and taped together on one end(last picture) There are minor tiny chips on the edges of some panels here and there this is not really visible and is simply mentioned for accuracy On the bottom center of the chandelier right where the finial attaches there is a flake to the white glass- the flake does not go through the glass- you can't feel it from the outside but you can see the color change(next to last picture) finally the finial on the bottom sits slightly off center if you screw it in tightly

One of the inkwells is in excellent condition; the other inkwell has two large rim pieces missing as you can see in the pictures but it can still hold its place. The covers to the inkwells close completely when the inserts are not inserted; when the inserts are in place the covers are slightly raised. Here's a nice set of six sterling cordial glasses with sterling tray or holder which was made by Taxco in Mexico. The cordial glasses all have glass inserts. I don't think these inserts come out. But I didn't try and force them out of the sterling holders. The tray is a great addition to the set and has the same cutout or filigree design as the glasses. These were recently purchased at an estate sale here in the Dallas area. I didn't try and shine them, so you are seeing them just as I bought them. The cordial glasses stand 3½ inches tall. The tray is about 11 inches long. 2½ inches wide and a little over ½ inch tall. All the pieces are marked with the same mark that you can see in picture number 6. These are missing. They measure 3" at widest point x 1 1/2" Urn design motif. On the bottom they are stamped"Reed& Barton Silver Soldered 0147-H. I think they have been tested to see if they are sterling. I was told they are not sterling silver but silverplate over nickel. On one of the cups. You can see the number 25. This Anchor Hocking depression glass 6-part relish is unmatched for beauty of pattern. Color and versatility. All pieces are vintage Anchor Hocking, the tray is in the Waterford Waffle pattern; the triangular inserts are Royal Ruby Manhattan; the center insert is a Manhattan sherbet. The pieces can be used as a set, as pictured or the indivdual pieces can be used separately.
