Vintage Art Deco Stepped Glass Shade for Ceiling Fixture
This authentic vintage Art Deco milk glass shade was made in the 1930's. And the stepped, or tiered, design is typical of that era. It's in beautiful condition, with 6 flower baskets surrounding the upper tier. All of the flawless pinstriping was done by hand. It casts a nice, mellow light, and is a great addition to any vintage home built in those days. I'll wrap this delicate piece in lots of bubble wrap to keep it safe during shipping. A lovely art deco stepped glass table lamp shade with chrome shade holder. Dating from the 1930s. The shade is mottled orange glass with darker orange streaks running through it and it is hexagonal in shape with stepped sides. It measures 7 1/2" tall x 7" wide at the base. This piece purchased at auction is approximately 7 3/4 inches tall by 6 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide. Has a priest or warrior set atop three steps holding a sceptre or club. Has large earspools and bib-like garb. Arms appear to be tattooed and pyramid has a different design on each side. Seems to be a piece of pottery on inside. Which was likely cut when the man and vessel were joined. A very eye appealing piece.

The cane shaft has natural stepped sections, with a steam formed crook handle, and has its original brass ferrule to the tip. The stick has a solid silver collar. Decorated with repousse and chased technique to depict foliate scrolls, with a vacant cartouche for engraving initials or a name. The silver is unmarked, but tests as solid silver. This walking stick measures 89.7 cm in length. The handle measures 11.7 cm in width. It weighs 106 grams. The condition is generally excellent, without damage or repair. This a great vintage parts unit. With 2 x Shallco stepped 600/600 attenuators, a stepped impedance switch and a VU meter. It(had) 3 Shallco attenuators mounted on it, but I needed the 1DB attenuator for a tube compressor of mine, so this is missing that one. Offered here"not complete, for parts only" because of the missing 1DB attenuator. The attenuators still on the unit are the 10DB and.1DB attenuators. Both work fine, move smoothly and have the original knobs. The attenuators are dated 0672(June 1972) and are both 600/600. The Impedance selector also moves smoothly and has the original knob. Today I am offering an unusual globe for auction. It has an etched mark which reads as follows; U.S. Pat. Jan. 6. 1920 Macbeth Monax Made in U.S.A. This mark is found on the base of the globe. It measures 8 inches in depth, 4&1/2 inches at the pinacle of the globe graduating in size to 10 inches with a 3& 1/4 inch opening. This is a solid globe that weighs 3 pounds. It is decorated with a simple yet sophisticated green pin stripe around each step. The condition of the globe is excellent. The opening has a rough edge but I do not think this is due to chipping or cracks but original to the globe. The Globe will be triple bubble wrapped and insured. 1930's vintage Ingraham electric striking clock. Model SSD2. Beautiful styled deco wood case with wavy stepped sides. Sits on two fluted wood feet. Tilted back a bit for easy viewing as a desk or dresser top clock. The clock runs great. Quietly, keeps accurate time, and the strike works, too. This strikes a small a brass bell, once on the half, and strikes each hour counting that hour, once at 1,twice at 2, three at 3, etc. The wood case is in good condition. Original finish with lots of aging and a few small blemishes, but smooth and shiny, not flaking nor peeling. The pearl-white-tone dial face is good, clean no scratches, black hands with a brass smooth seconds sweep hand. Good rounded rectangle convex dial glass clean no scratches. The door is made of solid pine and has 4 recessed panels with stepped molding. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. Condition: On the exterior side of the door. The top 2 panels are cracked along with the top of the hinge stile, the top of the lock stile and the bottom of the lock and hinge stiles; and the edge of the lock and hinge stiles and some pieces of molding are all chipped. On the interior side of the door. These candlesticks are shown in Volume 4 of The Glass Industry In Sandwich book. The Boston& Sandwich combinations of blown and pressed glassware from the early days show a simplicity of design which was difficult to match in the later all-pressed glass era. The three ring wafers hold the blown sockets to the pressed bases. There are small chips here and there on the steps and bottoms. One of the candlesticks has a chip on the bottom step near the edge that is about 3/8" The other has a larger chip on the bottom edge at the corner. The top blown sockets have no chips. For Auction is a Card Tray and it is made by Tiffany Studios. New York. The Card Tray or Plate stands 1 1/16" tall and has a Diameter of 7" This Patina is known as a Gold Acid Etched or(Dore' French for Gold finish. This is actually 18 KT Gold Plate on top of the acid etched finish. The base metal is bronze. The pattern is a very pleasing one consisting of a band of Fleur de Lis Accented with Red Enameled Cabochons. There are 2 0 red enameled cabochons and all of the enamel is there. The pattern is along the entire top edge of the bowl. Surrounding this Fleur de Lis Pattern is a Greek Key design that serves as its outer border. The Card Tray has an acid etched snowflakes on metal textured or what we call Gold"Dore" for French finish on the inside or top view. The Tray has a pleasing stepped form. The underside of the ... moreTray is done in a Gold wash and is not the same texture as the interior or top side. The Tray is considered to be in excellent condition as the only issues to report some wear to the finish interior finish. The underside show s wear to the gold along the outer edge. This was a used piece but the owner keep the Tray in surprisingly g reat condition. The Tray is signed on the underside with the impressed"Luios C. Tiffany Furnaces I nc" impressed signature mark along with the pattern number of" 6 04" There are the numbers" 8752" lightly etched with purposely done scratches through it. Th is is just below the mold number. This is more than likely a Special Order Number. There is also the Tiffany Favrile Monogram mark above all these marks. This will make a wonderful addition to those collecting bronze pieces made by L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile Studios especially in the Gold(Dore' finish. Fabulous stepped metal Art Deco frame. Frame with glass is 3 3/4" high. 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. There are two 2 3/8" x 3 3/8" pieces of beveled glass that hold the photo(Ina Claire) One piece of glass has a nick on two corners and the other piece has a nick on three corners(see the pictures) Nicks were caused by bumping the glass against the metal holder. the two nicks shown are placed in the metal holder. frame displays great and so does the glass. Pair Cambridge 3-light Stepped Candelabras
Nice looking pair of Cambridge( 3-light stepped crystal candelabras. The center candleholder standing an impressive 6 inches tall. The stepped side holders standing 3-3/4 and 4-1/2(approximately) Perfect condition with average wear/contact marks on the bottom of the glass. I think these are Cambridge. But could be Fostoria or Heisey or one of the other nice quality glassmakers of the 30’s and 40’s. I do not know the date of these, they have a sort of an art-deco style with the step design.
