Vintage Dispensing Coin Op Lighted Hot Peanut Vending Machine 5 Cent WORKS !
REVISED DESCRIPTION: I have had this old 5 cent coin op machine for 20 + years. I always intended to fix it and put it into use but never got around to it. The machine is in good shape overall and the glass globe does not have chips or cracks and no big dings on the machine itself. Only little flaw is a chip in white paint on turn knob. Which might be touched up if wished. Some car wax on the chrome and red metal would really make it jump but I leave that to buyer. The machine comes with the key to open the door. When you put a nickel it, it drops into the bottom of the machine and allows you to turn the stile that would dispense peanuts or other goodies. I guessed that this machine sold peanuts or some type of hot nuts because there is a socket for a long bulb and wires that go into it, and a helpful ebayer recently contacted me to let me ... moreknow the machine is a Northwestern 49 model made from 1949- early 1960s that indeed did sell hot nuts. The wires to the heating bulb socket had been clipped before I got it but the four wires can be seen in second to the last photo and the bulb holder in the last photo. It could be rewired but I did not have the knowledge to re-wire it. It looks to me like the wiring would go to a cord that went into the machine. It would not have to be rewired if you were content not to have light up machine and low heat, because the coin and dispensing mechanism works fine as it is. So the wiring would just be an added value extra buyer could do if wanted to. The member who helped me also told me there was a box the coins fell into. The coin box may be missing from this machine, but any box would do since it is not visible, or old authentic boxes can also be found if buyer wants complete restoration. The globe itself removes easily with a simple flip of a lever when the machine is opened and the globe and mechanical parts below it are clean and free of gunk and without any build up of salt or sugar. I looked at other Northwestern coin op machines on ebay and most of them did not seem as old

This is a super nice NORTHWESTERN gum machine which has been themed in Coca Cola. The machine has a glass globe with a glass of COCA COCA and the COKE SPRITE BOY on the front of it.On each side of the globe is a nice COCA COLA fishtail logo which says DRINK COCA COLA. The lid is RED with the word ICE COLD on the front and a CHROME stripe around it. Check out the great looking RED DIAMOND design on the front of the machine. LOOKS GREAT.It also comes with the lock and key. It stands 16 in tall by 6 in wide. There is a COCA COLA SODA BOTTLE inside the globe. Really looks cool. The machine is red and white in color with GREAT looking COCA COLA graphics and stripes on all 4 sides. Check out the GREAT looking old school COCA COLA 6 PACKS on both sides of the machine with the coke sprite boy. Offering an excellent condition Vintage 1940's Atlas Bantam 5 Cent Peanut Machine. This machine was obtained from an Estate and is as nice as you will find anywhere. No pitting and working perfectly with key The chrome tray is in excellent condition and all original. With the only exception that the 4 round original scuff pads on the base were replaced with larger felt pads which offer better protection. This has the original 8 sided globe also in perfect condition. Surface condition is excellent and shin y. These machines are often restored and personalized with a variety of wonderful product decals now readily available and affordable. Antique cast iron base nickel body peanut nut or candy Art Deco vending machine
Cool old vending machine. SMALL- just 11" tall(see quarter for scale) Heavy base. The handle pushes in and the flap pulls down but I doubt the coin operation works. For the restorer for sure. I'm assuming the hole in the side(photo 2) is for some sort of lock. Mounting holes in the back to screw it to the wall. Missing 2 screws at the base.

How long I can not say for sure but I have owned some made by them from the 1930's. This machine is from the late 1940's and was made to vend Gum and Mints such as Wrigley's and Life Savers. The machine is 100% complete and does work great.It even has the Original Weights that read EMPTY on them to show threw the small cut out part in the glass to show its out of product on that slot. It will vend modern size gum and lifesavers. The machine is a wall mounted or countertop unit. It is a 5cent machine and it is in great condition. Vintage 20's/30's Columbus Model "A" 1 c. Peanut vending machine with iron base
You are bidding on a very nice. Cast iron, circa 1920's Columbus model"A" 1 cent pea nut machine and its matching cast i ro n base. This machine has all original parts including the two key matched Columbus marked locks and one Columbus marked key that fits both locks. The globe is original with embossed Columbus logos on both sides and no cracks. The original operators decal is still there. This machine works properly on a penny. The paint appears to be newer with wear consistent with age. The cast iron base has a chrome insert in the center-see photos. IMPORTANT! Due to si ze and weight we will not ship this item. ANTIQUE 1920's COLUMBUS GUMBALL PEANUT MODEL A VENDING MACHINE ONE CENT
You are bidding on an antique peanut/bubble gum machine from the 1920's made by Columbus Vending Company. It appears to have been repainted at some time. Does have some chips in the paint but still in good condition for it's age. Glass globe is original and is in good condition with a few minor chips arount the inside top rim. Can not be seen unless taken apart. Has original sticker on globe which reads- Columbus Vendor Delicious Goodies nutritious and Healthful. Insert one penny then pull lever. has star in circle and reads Mfd. by the Columbus Vending Co. Columbus. OH. Top has 18 embossed on underneath. Lever that you slide to get gum/peanuts appears to have a crack but still works great. See photo#6. Not noticable unless you are looking for it. We have put a penny in the machine and it appears to work properly. Bottom plate appears ... moreto have a crack on the bottom but someone has put a metal plate on the underneath to hold it together. See last two photos. Inside of machine when bottom plate is removed is embossed 191. RARE Vintage Silver King Musical Ballerina 5 cent Peanut Gumball Vending Machine
This vending machine is in great original. As found, condition and it has the key too. The globe is in great condition with no damage and the sticker only has a couple of scratches(see photos for actual condition) The ballerina is nice and the nickle mechanism works. I am not sure how the music box and ballerina are controlled but if they are supposed to be controlled by placing a nickle in and moving the lever then I believe that there is probably a little wire missing that would go from the bar inside the globe up into the music box that would stop the flywheel so the music box would stop and when you put a nickle in and move the handle to the left the wire would move away from the flywheel and allow the music box to play and the ballerina to move, this would be very easy to fix. I have taken the bottom off and removed the top to wind the ... moremusic box(there is a screw to wind it) and the music box works and the ballerina moves up and down. COCA COLA COKE SODA FOUNTAIN GUMBALL CANDY PEANUT VENDING MACHINE SIGN
This is a nice ATLAS MASTER gum machine which has been themed in Coca Cola. The ATLAS MASTER was manufactured in 1951 and it has a coin mechanism which takes either a PENNY for one turn of the handle or a NICKEL for five turns of the handle. The machine has a tall GLASS globe with the original ATLAS MASTER PENNY- NICKEL decal on the front of it. Above the decal it says COCA COLA in RED letters and below the ATLAS decal is the COCA COLA SPRITE BOY with a bottle of COKE. On each side of the globe is a nice COCA COLA bottle cap logo. It has the original chrome lid and it comes with the lock and key. The key fits both the lid and the front door lock. It stands 17 in tall by 7 in wide.The front of the machine is CHROME as is the gum chute cover. There is some pitting to the chrome due to being 63 years old. 1933 NORTHWESTERN 33 PEANUT GUMBALL VENDING MACHINE
Here is a nice 1933 Northwestern 33 Peanut vending machine. It has a porcelain base and top and the porcelain is really nice. It has an original globe decal. It has an original top barrel lock with NC25 on the brass cylinder. I have been trying to get the lock open since I acquired this machine. I had an original NC25 key cut but with alot of back and forth it became damaged but was able to make a duplicate which I will include. I have used alot of wd40. Some penetrating oil and a little heat but nothing has opened it. The brass cylinder does move but that is about it. Instead of drilling the cylinder out I will leave it to the new owner to decide. Overall a nice Northwestern 33. Bottom lock is original and does work properly. It does accept a penny and does vend properly see video. Size is about 15" tall. Vtg 1930s-40s SILVER KING Hot Nut Peanut Gumball Machine w Glass Globe * Vending
This is a vintage 5 cents hot nut-peanut gumball machine that I found at a Seattle area estate sale. This is a SILVER KING. I believe from the 1930s-40s era. It is in good used condition, no major damage, but I am selling it as-found. The acorn shaped glass globe is here with the original decal intact, no chips or cracks. The clear red top looks like it may have lit up at one time. The bottom portion looks pretty good, the original paint is intact. The inside has some corrosion from the salted peanuts, it looks like it can be cleaned up when it is restored. The 2 rubber gaskets are intact. The power cord looks OK. No key. For your consideration a vintage c.1940 vending machine. Fresh from a local estate. The machine has a metal top and base with a glass globe. It operates on a penny and works. I am not sure who the maker is. Part of the lever is missing. It measures about 13" in height by 7" in diameter. Here is a 1950's"Little Nut Hut" vendor with a new 2013 Coca-Cola.Cup-O Nuts theme. You would fill you cup with the nuts,candy, or gum stored in the 2 hoppers,and then PAY THE MERCHANT your 25 cents.This vending machine DOES NOT accept coins. Clean inside and out. Has a nice snub nosed cup dispenser with a supply of cups inside. On/off switch on the front is for the top light and the 2,portion tray, heaters. The heaters are with the vendor but have been disconnected and are untested. They easily wire back into the harness should you want your nuts heated. Candy and/or gum would not need the heaters. It's only issue may be the plastic roof has a few fracture lines on it. You have to look close to see them, in real time, and they really don't detract from the great look of the vendor overall. This is an incredible original 5c Silver King Hot Nut vending machine from the 1940's. It is in perfect working condition and heater does work. As so many of these don't. Not sure if this was ever used due to its immaculate shape. All glass is in excellent condition and free of chips, cracks, etc. Decal on globe is original. Feet on bottom of base are original as well. The paint is also original which is rarely the case with any peanut machine used in general service. I normally leave the heater disconnected so it can be used for virtually any nuts, mints, candies, m&m's etc. I can hook the heater back up if buyer wishes as this is very easy to do. Northwestern 1933 Peanut Vending Machine Blue Red Porcelain Penny
1933 Northwestern Model 33 peanut vending machine in good working condition. This vendor has original red and blue porcelain along with an old decal. Part of a wall bracket is attached to the bottom plate. Old globe has one chip along the bottom and some flaking along the top but is still a pretty good globe. Most of the chipping in the blue is along the back around the lock area and the top has one porcelain cracked area as shown in the picture. Small cheap top lock is included. Bottom lock is a NC60 with a couple of keys. The keys are not NC60 but will work the lock. I will remove the glass and box it separately. Double boxed UPS in the U.S. 48 is 24.95

This Peanut Machine is in all complete ... moreand original condition. As you can see. There is wear to the original decal, as well as a very shallow chip to the bottom edge of the Art Deco Glass Dome. The Aluminum base& bottom are in perfect clean condition. Although this 15” tall by 9” wide Machine is all original, it is not in working condition. The knob that you turn on the right hand edge is slightly loose in its hole and will not turn. I do not see any other problems, and I am sure in the right hands, this Peanut Machine can be properly fixed to work once again. Northwestern 33 Coin Operated Peanut Vending Machine
Northwestern Corporation. Morris, IL, c. 1933, 16" Art deco design. The lid. Base, and base plate are cast iron. The mechanism is aluminum. All factory 33 Peanut mechanisms took pennies. Painted surfaces and Globe are in good shape. Do not have a key presently. Mechanism will not turn but there is money in the box so I am assuming that is an easy fix with a key. Fairly common key to get. Not sure what the money is. Pennies probably but whatever they are you get them also. Please look at the picture carefully to see what you're bidding on. I have not tried to refurbish this at all yet and need the room. Nice machine that should not take too much work to get it looking and working great.
