Manufacturer's Description: Manufacturer's Brochure: It has some cosmetic scuffs. But functionally it works perfectly. Drinks stay cold. We refurbished the coin mechanisms a year or so ago, and haven't had any issues with the accepting coins or turning the dials. The only thing on it that isn't working as expected is the"sold out" indicator lights don't light up. We never cared enough to troubleshoot that one. Everything else works exactly as you'd expect it to. It has served us well for quite for some time. The"mechanical" nature of this beast means it can survive a nuclear blast and still properly vend candy bars. I know. A good chocolate bar is what I am craving post radiation, so this is comforting. The refrigeration unit in it works great and the cans come out colder than the refrigerator with ... moreour sandwiches and moldy pasta dishes keeps the cans. What you are seeing in the pictures is three pieces: a base. A 5 can drink machine, and a 9 snack candy/chips machine. They are held together by a magical force known as gravity. I offer this warning because it may come into play when loading the snack machine- if you get to vigorous, the effects of this voodoo may attempt to bring together the machine and the ground with great force and most likely with you between them. Luckily, none of us have witnessed this, though we have seen it slide around enough to envision such an act occurring. On the bright side, this makes moving it very easy as it can be carried away in pieces, no tools necessary. We've since upgraded to a motorized unit. Because manually turning the knobs was too much work for some of my coworkers who didn't want to burn that many calories in order to get their sugar. So, now we are offloading this cheap because we just want it out of our office. Frankly, it stares at the new machine with such jealousy and disgust that it makes trips to the kitchen awkward for the rest of us. It's a good machine and it means well, it just needs a good home.
