Looks like calcium build up but should not be a problem as you are suppose sit the can inside machine so there should be no contact with actual machine to cheese. The stainless needs some cleaning and polishing but there is no major damage just some light scratches and such. The broiler heated up to an idle temperature with the heating elements at 25% We then applied pressure to the front of the rack which tilted the rack flat and tripped the actuator switch. The heating elements then came on at full power. When the weight was lifted from the front of the rack it tilted back and the heaters returned to the idle temperature. This is one of the few items in my store that actually made money. I buy the pretzels on-line in plain and cinnamon flavors. Heat them up in this warmer and sell'em. Kids love them and moms appreciate them as well because their filling, they taste good, and they are healthier then most of the prepackaged stuff out there. I've had this little warmer for two years. It's in great shape, functions perfectly and, at $85.00 is less then half of what you'd pay to purchase it new. I'd keep this at home but I'd weigh 400 lbs. in a matter of months. Up for bids here today is a Server nacho cheese dispenser. Dispenser is used and has normal wear and tear. I do not know how old it is. There are scratches and wear marks that might not be able to be seen in the pictures above. Overall though it is in good shape. The Nacho cheese part lights up. as can be seen in picture 2 up above. I just replaced the bulbs with 2 new ones. This could also be used as a hot fudge dispenser also.
