Reliance 31406CRK Transfer Switch (Slightly Used)
Up for auction is a Reliance 31406CRK Transfer Switch that has been used about a year. This unit is 100% functional and was only replaced because we needed more than 6 circuits after a rewiring job. I replaced this unit with a 10 circuit unit from Reliance. This transfer switch makes things quick and easy when the power goes out. From powering up the generator to getting some lights back on is less than 5 minutes thanks to this unit. This unit is designed for quick installation. This transfer switch can handle up to a 7500 watt generator with a 30 amp output. There are a total of 6 circuits that can be switched(4 15 amp and 2 20 amp) The 2 20 amp circuits can be bridged to handle a single 240volt 20 amp circuit(which we did for our well pump) The kit comes with everything you will need to install the device except the feed wire from the power ... moreinlet box to the transfer switch itself and wire nuts. This is something you would need to source from a local supply shop or an electrician. The kit I am selling contains brand new power inlet box. Generator to inlet box power cable, installation dvd, and 20amp plug if you need to adapt the power cable to a 20amp generator output. As a disclaimer. I will not be held responsible for damage to your electric circuits, property damage, bodily harm, death, or any other side effect as a result of this device being installed. Up for auction is a used transfer switch. Instruction manual, generator chord with a 20 amp plug and outside outlet box. These items were purchased as a kit for $282.61 and I installed them myself at my home. Also, I am including about 45 feet of 10-3 with ground wire for use in installation. I have since upgraded to a stationary natural gas unit which has it's own transfer switch and no longer need this switch. The kit originally included a 30 amp plugin for the generator chord but I do not have it now. Only needed if your generator has a 30 amp outlet, mine had a 20 amp.
