This is an EmerGen Switch made by Connecticut Electric Switch Mfg Co. Model#10-12K. It was installed in my home for standby power about 3 yrs ago. It is in good working order as I have tested it on a regular basis prior to the professional removal of the unit. Cosmetically it is as pictured. ok. I took pictures of the labels on the side which explain the breakdown of the 10 circuits. It has dual guages which allow you to see the wattage being used. With 30A cord that was installed in my house, but that never saw service because the power never failed while it was installed. I removed it when we installed a whole-house generator. The back of the switch has a bit of paint and wood stuck to it because I installed it before the paint was dry. The"warranty void if this seal is broken" sticker is intact- the unit has never been opened(something that you should ask any seller) This switch transfers portable generator power to your home's electrical panel by manually switching individual circuits. I bought this Emergen Manual Transfer Switch(model 6-5001) for my home back in 2010 and installed it all EXCEPT for the final wiring to the breaker box. I started final installation yesterday and realized I needed the 30 amp version. The switch has had absolutely ZERO electricity run through it the whole time I've had it. So it's essentially BRAND NEW. NOne of the wires have been cut, but were bound up with red electrical tape waiting for installation. I bought it for $271 but I'm letting it go for a lot less since it's a few years old and I can't return it. Comes with the flush-mount accessory(as seen in the photos) Will Ship only to lower 48 states.
