I think some people repurpose these for lamps ... moreor bird cages and it would be very unique for either one. The old cast iron base has embossing on each leg. They are embossed with Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. New York, and Chicago. The paw feet sit on top of small casters for rolling the form around. There is an old cast iron pedal that is in working condition and is used to release the lock for raising and lowering the stand. The iron pole at it's lowest point is 40 inches from the floor to the tip. When raised to its maximum height it is 65.5 inches from the floor. The cast iron base of the stand measures about 18 inches from the tip of one foot to the tip of the opposite foot, just to give you an idea of the size. It is in normal used condition with rubs, and some surface rust that can be cleaned. I tried to get pictures of the casters to give you an idea of the condition too. Please let me know if you have any questions. This is a truly great old stand. Be sure to calculate shipping since the form itself weighs about 12 pounds and will be in an oversized box. Check out all the photos I’ve enclosed. She has open/close eyes with and nice lashes. Her eyes have a slight haze to them but she still looks very good. Candy has high-heel molded feet and is approximately 21” tall with rooted blonde hair and is jointed at the knees and elbows. Included in the auction are 3 dress forms all in good condition and complete. They will be disassembled for shipping. The 4 outfits are: A pretty pink chiffon dinner dress/gown trimmed with rhinestones. A pink shawl, pink purse trimmed with rhinestones, pink hi-heels and a RARE rhinestone necklace and teardrop rhinestone earring set all in ... moregood condition. A green dress and matching hat plus a black hat box and black hi-heels. Good condition except one hi-heel shoe which is missing the plastic closure bump and a small black spot on the back of the dress. A blue skirt. Light blue blouse and blue jacket with red trim, plus a red bead necklace, a red purse and red hi-heels. The jacket has some issues with tiny holes and some of the red trim is missing. The blouse, necklace, skirt, shoes and purse are in good condition. A blue and purple/lilac polka dot playsuit/swimsuit with a wrap around skirt and jacket. Straw hat, white hi-heels and white sunglasses. The hi-heels have issues, one won’t stay closed, and the other is damaged. The straw hat ribbon has disintegrated over the years and has only a small piece of it on the back of the hat. There is a loose matching bow that goes on the skirt waistline included also. All the outfits could probably use a light washing and pressing. This is just the way I found Candy and her outfits and I am leaving it up to the new owner to do her laundry.
