They are embossed with Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. New York, and Chicago. The paw feet sit on top of small casters for rolling the form around. There is an old cast iron pedal that is in working condition and is used to release the lock for raising and lowering the stand. The iron pole at it's lowest point is 40 inches from the floor to the tip. When raised to its maximum height it is 65.5 inches from the floor. The cast iron base of the stand measures about 18 inches from the tip of one foot to the tip of the opposite foot, just to give you an idea of the size. It is in normal used condition with rubs, and some surface rust that can be cleaned. I tried to get pictures of the casters to give you an idea of the condition too. Please let me know if you have any questions. This is a truly great old stand. Be sure to calculate shipping since the form itself weighs about 12 pounds and will be in an oversized box. This is a really nice vintage male dress form that I bought at a local high end men's suit store that closed a few years ago. It was open in the 30's or 40's so the dress form could havd been from that era and up. It is a very heavy duty dress form. Nice solid wood base with brass ring. The form itself is also very sturdy. I do not know what is underneath but it is covered with nice black jersey material. Neck and neck cap are solid wood as well. I would say it was used to display size large to xl clothing Measures about. 18" shoulder to shoulder 23" shoulder to bottom of torso and 40" in chest area.
