1953 Vintage antique HOME COMFORT E-1 electric cooking stove range oven IT WORKS
Vintage Home Comfort E-1 electric cooking stove. This stove worked when my step-grandpa last used it. After testing it recently. I found that both the upper and lower coils in the oven heat up, as can be seen in the photo, so the oven works. All four burners also heat as they should. I cannot get the dial to turn to test the middle"deep well. However, I may have been doing something wrong as I initially thought the oven was not working until I found the manual, which also goes along with the auction, and realized I just had it in the wrong mode. I should have re-tested the deep well dial after finding the manual, but I forgot to, and the stove is almost 2 hours from us. The plastic/glass cover is missing off the timer, and I did not test the timer. It has been kept in his kitchen in his heated home for the last ten years. It is as is ... morebut most everything appears to be working. The burners and oven definitely work. It is about 40 inches wide by about 27 inches deep(including the handles out front) and the height from the floor to the top is about 37 inches plus about another 9 inches for the area where the dials are located. Vintage Galvanized Ash Coal Scuttle Hod Bucket With Bale Handle #17
For your Bidding Pleasure: Vintage Fireplace Coal Pail/ Ash Bucket/ Scuttle/ Hod with a Bale Handle#17. Constructed of a medium gauge galvanized steel metal with rolled edges that are still strong& durable. Well balanced with a 3/8" wide metal bail handle for easy carrying and a"grab" handle on the back to help make dumping the ashes an easier task. Measures 11 1/2" overall height when handle is down x 12 3/4" at its widest point across the top x 16 3/4" length across the top x 8 3/4" diameter at the base. This Coal Pail has seen working use at some point through the years. The galvanized surface is painted black with a few spotty areas of flaking paint. There is some minor oxidation discoloration around bottom as well as some minor scuffs. Dings, dents& scratches. All welds, seams& rivets are ... morestill intact& structurally sound. The only thing i have not been able to test is the inbuilt light meter in the viewer as i dont have a battery of that type. There are two view finders.The eye level one with the built in light meter and exposure controls,and a rare waist level viewer for moving photography. There are three lenses and a telephoto adapter with this outfit. The lenses are a Meyer-optik 50mm F1.8,a Sigma 135mm F1.28 and a Prinzgalaxy 135mm F1.28 zoom lens. There are also various other items such as filters and hard cases for the lenses and camera. There is also a vintage light meter in its original leather case with rare light defuser. This is a pair of vintage cornerless cube amber color beads. These beads have never been used. But have flea bites on some of the corners due to being handled over time. These are heavy beads weighing 5.2 grams and 5.4 grams. The beads pictured are the beads you will receive. The Bohemian beads I am listing have been in my family for 60+ years. Some of these types of beads were traded in Africa, although the beads I am listing were stored and not actually traded. This is a very interesting piece. This antique brick is very old as online research shows that the Peck Brick Co. produced bricks from 1856 through 1910. Two known markings are"PECK" and"P B Co" This of course is the latter. Don't know which came first. P B Co" Inland from the banks of the Hudson River in Haverstraw.
